Chapter 11 Part 2

Camila's P.O.V

Dinah had just left to go home to babysit her younger siblings. My mom had gotten home about ten minutes before she left.

I was now in my room with my headphones in, listening to Oh Wonder and staring up at the plastic glow-in-the-dark stars and planets that Lauren and I put up when we were seven. I never took them down because they brought back memories of our childhood.

I had my eyes closed, dozing off when I felt an arm wrap around my waist and someone kiss the top of my arm. It scared me at first until I smelled the perfume that I had grown to love. The perfume that I have missed for a month.

I had slowly drifted off. Sleep taking over my emotionally exhausted body. I had always been able to fall asleep in my best friends arms when we cuddle every sleepover.

I felt someone move next to me, waking me up from my slumber. I slightly smiled remembering it was Lauren.

"Come on Camz open your eyes. I know you are awake I can see you smiling. And now you are blushing." Lauren said.

"Noooooo." I flipped over and buried my face in a pillow.

I felt to hands grab my sides and start tickling me profusely. "Lolo- oh my god, LAUREN S-S-STOOOPP PWEASE" I said in between laughing and trying to breath. " I'm up, I'm up I promise."

"Good because we need to talk. So I was thinking we could go to that pizza place that you always make me eat at with you." She said almost nervously.

"Umm yeah sure I guess, let's go."

"I uh, I'm sorry for avoiding you. I've had a lot on my mind." She said after we sat down waiting for our pizza.

"It's fine Lolo." I said a little to unconvincing.

"No it's not." She paused for a moment looking down at the table before looking me in the eyes. "I think we should just forget about the kiss and act like it never happened."

"Oh"
