Chapter 5

Camila's P.O.V

It's been about a week since the sleepover at Dinahs house and I haven't been able to get the green eyed goddess off my mind.

I'm currently over Dinahs house listening to her ramble about some guy she meet at the mall. Well Atleast that's what she's been talking about.

Everytime I start listening my thoughts go straight back to Lauren. I can't help but wonder why I feel this way about her. The way her eyes sparkle a deep emerald green that almost put me in a trance, the way they turn a slight grayish blue when she gets upset. The way her jet black dyed hair settles against her fair porcelain skin. How kissable her lips look.

These are thoughts I shouldn't be having about my best friend. These are definitely thoughts that make me wonder if she thinks the same way. These thoughts make me worry that if I act upon them that I will lose one of my cherished friendships I have ever had.

"MILA" Dinah yelled breaking me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay? You've been out of it for a while and you haven't even been listening to me have you?"

"Yeah, I um, I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind." I say truthfully.

"Well you know I'm always here for you if you need someone to talk about." She said while hugging me." Now about these things on your mind, or is in more of a someone than a something? "

" I um I uhh no. It's not um. It's nothing." I say looking down embarrassed.

Dinah looks at me with an all to well known smirk. "Who's the guy chancho? And don't lie to me."

"It's not a guy." I mumbled

"I said don't. Lie and you know better to- wait did you just say that it's not a guy?" Dinah looked at me confused.

I nodded my head slowly tears started forming in my eyes.

Dinah hugged me" It's okay Chancho, I'm okay with it. It's not gonna change anything. I just have one question, well actually two."

I didn't say anything just nodded my head again to tell her to continue.

"Is it me? Because if it is I wouldn't blame you. I mean have you seen this tall stack of sexy? " Dinah said laughing while motioning to herself.

"Never in a million years." I laughed while pushing her away.

"Rude ass, you know you want this" Dinah said earning herself a punch. " but seriously is it someone I know."

I nod once again, my face flushing a slight red tint.

"Is it lauren?"

My cheeks turn a darker shaded of red and I hesitate before I nod slowly.

"Goddamnit I owe mani twenty bucks."

"What do you mean you owe her twenty bucks?" I asked quite confused.

"We made a bet that you liked Lauren more than a friend. But I was trying to be on you side and said no you just space out sometims. But I guess all the blankless stares you give her were more than spacing out." Dinah said.
