Four years later.

Camila's P.O.V

Everything really did change when the four of us parted ways all those years ago. The first year of college we had all kept in touch. We were able to meet up at least once a month that year ever though it was very difficult to do so. But we still had weekly group video calls to keep everyone updated on all the drama that had happened that week.

The second year of college is when it slowly became hard to keep in contact. The five of us were just to busy with the school work that never seemed to disappear. Jobs also had gotten in the way, some of us work more then just one to make rent. That year we got together maybe five times, our video calls slowly started coming to a halt, we had them twice, maybe three times a month if we were lucky.

The third year of college is when there was little to no contact. A few text here and there was about all any of us got from each other. The video calls came to a complete stop around the third month of the school year. We even stopped trying to meet up through the year, only seeing each other when we went home for the holidays. Even then sometimes it wasn't all of us, as some were off to their significant others house.

The fourth and final year of college was basically the end of our friendship. The five of us were all walking a different path in life and maybe those paths will connect somewhere along the way. As college came to an end each of our life's were just beginning. Ally was engaged to her long time boyfriend and was busy with wedding planning. Normani was of to LA to try and pursue her dreams. Dinah has decided to take a long vacation in Hawaii with her family. Lauren, well I'm not really sure what Lauren decided to do after college.

This past year has been a little different from what I thought I would be doing after graduating I've been working in a nice quiet record shop in downtown Portland. Portland is honestly the last place I had expected myself to end up at, but I couldn't love it more. I have a small group of friends here that are like a small family from all over we just happened to end up here. We spend our free time outside exploring and going on small road trips around Oregon.

We are currently on a camping trip along the coast. There really is something nice about having a bonfire on the beach and being able to look at the stars with the cool breeze during the summer. Sometimes the fog is so dense along the coast you can barely see ten feet in front of you. There is something calming about it though, makes you feel like you are secured. During the night the fog is terrifying you don't know who or what is out though.

Laying under the stars makes me think back to when Lauren and I would sneak out to lay on the beach and look at the stars as teenagers, sometimes the girls would join us and we would just be at peace. Moments like these make me want to contact the girls again.

I think it's time I should rekindle this friendship.

Hey there. It's been a long time right? I know it's a short update buts still more then I've written in almost three years. I think I'm going to finally finish this fic along with the rest of my other ones. I no longer have an interest in who and what my fics are about but it just feels wrong leaving them unfinished.
