"Everyone gather around!!!!" Chifuyu called out, trying to hype up the abnormally low-stacked gang for the upcoming beef against Tenjiku. They had a lot riding on the line with this fight, to say the least.

"I've been waiting for you, hero." Kisaki's words were unpleasant to Chifuyu's ears, as the boy was just begging to wail on the incel. Like, seriously, come on, dude-

"That bastard Kisaki... He's just standing there and watching." Chifuyu clicked his tongue in distaste. As he should.

"He's that kind of guy." Takemitchy agreed.

"It's as if we can't reach him unless we defeat Tenjiku... He's thought this through thoroughly, huh?" Chifuyu scanned the area, trying to find a certain sergeant who had a grip on his heart. Dammit, where is she?! What did they do?!

"Four hundred members of Tenjiku versus fifty members of Toman. How'll you handle this clear disadvantage?! You're up first, Shion." Izana said coolly, his tone indicative of a collected person when, in reality, that couldn't have been farther from the truth.

"Today's forerunner will be me!!! Former president of the Black Dragons and one of Tenjiku's Four Heavenly Kings! Madarame Shion! Who will Toman send?!!" The man you had wished to be a myth stepped up to the plate, leering dangerously at the crowd gathered before him.

"'Forerunner?' What does that mean?" Oh, may the Lord have mercy on Takemitchy's poor soul-

"It's the S-62's infamous ritual. They liven up the later battle by starting with a one-on-one fight. That may be why they took (Name)-chan." Yamagishi explained.

"Woah... the delinquent nerd has spoken." Makoto said in a hushed voice.

"Makoto, pal, chum, mate, buddy, bud, read the fucking room. Now is not the time." Takuya hissed quietly, and Makoto made a silent scene of pretending to zip his lips shut. The audacity-

"No... If that were the case, (Name)-chan would have been incapacitated the same way Mikey-kun and Draken-kun were. They took her for another reason. We'll have to find her after we take down Tenjiku, they're forcing our hand... And since I took the lead for today's battle, I should be the forerunner!" Takemitchy announced... more so to himself than anyone else, as it was nigh inaudible to Madarame, who cackled at the seeming lack of response.

"Come on, stop joking around, Toman!! Mikey, Draken, Violet, Mitsuya, Smiley - not even one of your precious MVPs are around! And no one's around to be your forerunner, either?!" Madarame taunted the already downtrodden gang, but one delinquent, in the face of such dreadful odds, stepped up to the plate.

"Your opponent will be me." Peh-yan declared. How dare you say (Name)-chan's title like that when you took her, you bastard! Takemitchy knitted his brows together before protesting.

"Peh-yan-kun-"

"Today you're acting as president, so step back." He looked back at Takemitchy, truly harnessing his inner you (in terms of bodyguarding prowess), before returning his gaze to his soon-to-be opponent.

"Tokyo Manji Gang acting third division captain, Hayashi Ryouhei." Peh-yan introduced himself, like the true rowdy boy he was. However, he had another reason for stepping up to fight Madarame...

"Whatever!! I can finish all of Toman myself." Madarame challenged him, now barely a hair's width away from the lone Toman member. But Peh-yan was not intimidated; no, on the contrary, his resolve for rearranging this stupid guy's stupid face was all the stronger now. For (Name)-chan and Pah-chin... I'll beat you into the ground.

"This one-on-one fight is important. The winning team will get a huge morale boost." Chifuyu explained, itching to get the whole fight on in full force. Then they could put what he so delicately referred to as the "Recover (Name) Yoshizawa Operation" into action. Which was actually just a fancy title for everyone running to find you after the fight. They... really should have spent more time planning instead of just scrambling to get to the wharf as soon as possible before their adrenaline wore off. Emotions sure did manifest in truly unconventional ways.
