Darkness taught me
The idea of being alone
Yet observer of my journey ahead
I know I have to cross it alone
May be sometimes I am scared inside
Sometimes intransigent for all the big rocks
tries to slip in disguise of this dark
My sore legs can say stories of all the
Tribulations I have been through
I tried to doff all my lightness behind
As I am unable to see due to the sudden light
I am receiving, I was so habitual to stay in dark
And calm.
But darkness helped me and guided me
To make constant slow path towards end of this tunnel
May be it knew I was worthy of all the light
And sunshine after the long companionship
I behold with it.
And at the end it pleasingly
But like an old Friend
Said adios to me.
