The Hand That Rocks The Tad - Part One

year before the partner ceremony:

"Tad? Are you listening?"

"Ehh... What?"

Everybody looked at the purple demon who, for the first time in his life, hasn't payed attention. Bo was sleeping, Bill gave him a confused look and his friend was trying not to laugh at the nerds confused expression.

"Seems like the demon of the nerds has something better to do. Not gonna blame him though, I wish I could also be somewhere else but here sitting with you idiots", the girl besides Bo mainly looked at Bill, pointing out that he was the idiot, who got quite angry at her comments meanwhile Tad started to blush madly. The teacher raised an eyebrow.

"It's completely normal to daydream. It can also happen during class once or twice and since you are a good student Tad, I'm not gonna say anything more. But I expect you to listen in the future and I know you will."

"Okay Mr-..."

"What?! This is completely unfair!"

The girl stood up in rage which woke the boy with the red clothes up.

"Hm? Is it over?", he asked tired and started to yawn.

"Kryptos, please sit down-..."

"No! Why isn't he getting punished meanwhile the others get?!"

"Because unlike all of you he is mostly listening. If you really think I don't see what you are doing than you underestimated me a lot. But what actually is pretty annoying is when my lessons are getting interrupted. Let's take Bo as an example."

"Excuse me?", the still confused red demon who likes to take a nap looked between his teacher and Kryptos.

"He is sleeping. Yes, he isn't paying any attention that will later on be very useful for all of you. And it might happen that when he grows up he will be in a dangerous situation that he won't be able to solve because he hasn't payed any attention as a child. But I won't make anything else than telling him that he should at least repeat the stuff after school, which he in fact does. But unlike you he isn't interrupting me, so could you now please sit down and we can continue on with the topic?"

The girl looked at him with a bluffed expression. Tad was still red in his face and was looking on the ground from embarrassment. Bill and his friend were trying not to burst out into laughter. Bo was still confused and asked the boy besides him what's going on to which he quickly summarized the whole situation.

"Seems like someone got embarrassed", said Bill in a mocking voice.

The girl turned around and gave him a devastating look. "You better keep your mouth shut Cipher or I-..."

"You what? Gonna send some of you illusions after me? Sorry darling but this ain't working with me. You cannot make something fake look real enough to scare me. So now sit down and keep your pretty mouth shut. Understandable enough honey?", Bill interrupted her and kept on making fun of the girl's powers. Kryptos's face heated up and her eyes started to water, she turned around and ran crying into the forest. Bill meanwhile laughed his ass of. The others didn't find the joke as funny as he did and Bo quickly stood up and punched the yellow demon in the face, to which he of course yelled in pain, and then he ran after his old childhood friend to comfort the girl knowing how much trouble she had to control her powers.
