Jungwon kept looking at window, wondering.

Was he just looking outside or was he spying on us?

He turned his head to check on Jake and the latter didn't seem to have noticed anything weird. He just walked with a happy face on, finishing his ice cream.

They entered the house and heard some laughs in the living room.
"How are they having fun without us?" asked Jake while taking his shoes off.
"That seems impossible" replied Jungwon laughing. "We'll have to investigate."

They walked to the living room, only to find Sunoo, Niki and Jay sitting on the couch and talking.

Wait. Jay?
Wasn't he at his window a minute ago? Did he see us and rush downstairs?
Did I dream this?

Jungwon tried to hide his surprise. He didn't want anyone asking him what was wrong.
Jake sat next to Sunoo, and started telling him about their day.

Niki and Jungwon shared an eye contact and Niki noticed something was bothering his best friend.

"I'm gonna go wash up, I won't be long" said Jungwon, who needed to clear his head a bit.

As he said that, his eyes automatically went for Jay's. The latter looked at him as well. His serious expression didn't change, except that he slightly lifted one eyebrow, making Jungwon's brain do a perfect front flip.

Jungwon walked away before his cheeks turned too red and crossed paths with Heeseung in the stairs.
"Hey Jungwon" he said, stopping to greet him.
"Hey" replied Jungwon, who just wanted to reach his bedroom.
"Are you okay? You look a bit sweaty, I don't know" asked Heeseung.
"Yeah, no worries, I'm alright" replied Jungwon as quickly as he could.

Heeseung nodded and continued walking down the stairs, thus freeing Jungwon.

The latter ran through the hallway, down his bedroom, but once again, curiosity made him stop in front of Jay's door.

The temptation to open it and look inside was growing so wildly in him. He needed to see what Jay's private space looked like.

There was something about this Jay, and he didn't know what it was.

I should talk to Niki about this.

Closing his eyes to lessen the temptation,
Jungwon opened his own door. A few minutes later, he was in the shower, trying to process his day. He had had such a good time with his roommate, had discovered lots of cool places and eaten delicious ice cream. Nonetheless, yesterday's noises and the window incident haunted his thoughts.

He stopped the water and stepped outside of the shower. This time, he dressed up in the bathroom. He hadn't liked walking to his room with only a towel on the day before, so this felt like a victory.

Jungwon was looking for Niki, who in fact was still in the living room.

Sunoo and him were playing a card game, so Jungwon had to wait for them to finish it.

"I WIN" shouted Niki, putting down his last card.
"That's it" said Sunoo, pouting. "I'm not playing with you anymore, you always win!"
"Then why do you always say that but keep coming for more?" asked Niki, putting the cards in their boxes.

Sunoo looked a bit shocked at that last comment, so he looked at Jungwon and decided to change subjects.

"How was your day Jungwon?" he asked, constantly glancing at Niki.
"Pretty great!" answered Jungwon. "Jake is really cool."
"Wowowow" said Niki. "Don't forget who's your bestfriend here"
"Are we jealous mister Niki?" asked Sunoo, teasing him.
"No, I most certainly am not" he replied, looking away.

"Niki could we talk for a bit?" asked Jungwon.
"Sure" replied Niki, looking at Sunoo.
"I have to start cooking anyway" said Sunoo. "Sunghoon is waiting for me."

Sunoo got up and headed for the kitchen.
"I guess that you want to talk somewhere more private than the living room?" asked Niki.

Jungwon nodded.

"Well, let's go to my room" suggested Niki.
They headed for it, but once passed the stairs, they could hear two voices coming from Niki's room.

"Is it me or does it look like they're fighting?" asked Niki.
"It does look like it" replied Jungwon, torn between wanting to hear the fight and minding his own business.

"I think it's Jay and Hee" said Niki, focused on the voices.

Jay and Hee? What are they fighting about?

"We should go" said Niki. "This doesn't concern us, plus if they find out we were here trying to listen, it won't end well for us.

Jungwon nodded and invited Niki to his own bedroom.

"What are you trying to say?" asked Niki.

They were both sitting on Jungwon's bed, backs to the wall.
"Don't you think there's something weird? I mean the noises, the window" said Jungwon.
"Well, Jay is clumsy, he's always bumping his knees on the coffee table and stuff" explained Niki. "It doesn't shock me you heard noises."
"And the" started Jungwon.
"The window?" repeated Niki. "Jay saw you guys coming home and came tell us, that's all."

That's all?
Why isn't he getting what I mean?
Am I really the only one upset about this?

"You look frustrated" commented Niki.
"I do not" said Jungwon.
"Boy oh boy" sighed Niki. "I know your frowning frustrated face Won. Don't try to hide it from me."

"Okay, I'm frustrated" admitted Jungwon.
"Finally" said Niki. "And do we know why we are frustrated?"
"Well, first, you don't agree with me, which doesn't go my way" said Jungwon.
"Oh, but I do" said Niki. "It IS weird."

Jungwon looked at him. He had his smirking smile on, which wasn't a good sign for Jungwon.

"So weird to see you having a crush on someone and not knowing how to deal with it" finally explained Niki, smiling even more.
