Claire - High school is the most scariest thing ever , let alone being the new kid coming in the middle of the year. My dad says "this is going to be our last stop" I sure hope so because I want to finish my sophomore year but I want a high school experience without the moving around.
My Dad and I moved around a lot due to his job . My dad was a racer and he always traveled and my mom was sick of it so she left us , left my dad and more importantly Me . It's been 10 years since I've seen her , I'm 15 going to be 16 in a month . Jackson High School was my new school and I was nervous. Not because of being the new kid but since this is my hometown the last place where my mother was with me .
Dad- Claire ?
Claire - yes
Dad - did you hear me ?
Claire - yeah you said your going to a race so you won't be able to pick me up
Dad - look I promise I will fix your car but until then your gonna walk
Claire - no problem dad
Claire hugs her dad then starts walking inside the school and to the main office .
Principal Berry - well from the looks of your records you seem to be able to go to the honors English Class and you could also do wood shop .
Claire - thank you but I wanted to ask you something , do you also have photography as something I could do ?
Principal Berry - yes , in fact due to your outstanding grades you could do both but you will have to keep those grades to do both and also it's said here that you were a cheerleader and in fact you were captain so if you like to do that just tell Coach Grey okay
Claire - okay
Principal Berry - well that's everything now let me introduce you to Nick Andrews here's our #1 outstanding student oh your going to love him he's so sweet
Nick walks in and Claire and the principal stand up to go meet him .
Principal Berry - Nick this is Claire Austin she's out new student
Nick - hi , I'm nick and you obviously know that I'm shall we get started?
Principal Berry - yes and don't worry your teachers already know what you too are doing so you won't be late
Nick - thank you
Nick and Claire walk out of the office and into the hallway .
Nick - that room is history and principal Berry said we have the same classes so
Claire chuckles and it catches Nick's attention. Nick thought she was laughing at him since he was being a little bit awkward towards her.
Nick - what ?
Claire - nothing it's just most people aren't shy and kinda nice to meet someone who is
Nick - *chuckles* okay let's continue
Foot steps start walking towards them .
??? - Nick be gone
Nick - fine whatever Maddie, catch you later blue
Claire rolls her eyes then smiles .
Maddie - man he's so dumb I can't believe believe he's my brother
Claire - wow brother but you kinda look like
Maddie - yeah we're twins I know so sad I wish I would've eat him and done everyone a favor
Claire - yeah
Maddie - okay it's lunch and I can introduce you to the crew
Maddie - everyone is cool but with Addy she is very honest so if she tells you some shit then don't take it personally okay
