As they landed on what appeared to be a hill Feyre looked around and was overwhelmed by the beauty of everything. She didn't know what she had been expecting, but it was a lot more of death and doom or the Court of Nightmares than what she saw.

In front of her was a beautiful cityscape that stretched out across the horizon and every house was littered with candles flowers that looked to be figments of darkness, but what really caught her eye was the huge celebration. Down in what looked to be a town square or a market had so many people dancing and listening to the music just enjoying everything and in the middle of the party was the female who had bumped into her and was apparently her sister-in-law.

Before they could finish enjoying the beautiful scenery a male winnowed right in front of them. he smiled at Amren and hugged her, but then as they pulled back from the hug the male started arguing with Amren in another language and she did it right back to him. None of them quite knew what to do but when Cassian and Mor made to walk down to the party he snapped his fingers at them freezing them where they stood. That started more arguments between him and Amren and eventually, she bared her teeth at him and he bared his teeth back but as he did two of his canines became elongated.

Feyre stepped back quickly and put herself in front of Nyx and Rhys stepped in front of them both and their movements drew his attention. He let out a cold laugh at their movements and drew his canines back in and turned back to Amren.

"They can stay but they can't talk to her. She's not ready. She said that herself. You were a fool to bring them here sister," the male finally said in their language with an endearing accent so that all of them could understand. Then without waiting for anyone to object he turned and walked back down to the party.

"Who was that Amren?" Rhys questioned.

"That was my half-brother Calix. High King of the realm you stand in now"

"Well, where can we find Velaris. I haven't seen her in nearly 507 years. I want to see my sister," Cassian said.

"You can't. He was right. I shouldn't have brought you all here. You can at least go and enjoy the party while you're here. Maybe watch her from afar." Amren said and then walked away.

"No. That's not fair. We are the High Lord and High Lady of the Night Court. We can see whoever we damn well please," Feyre said with conviction after seeing and feeling the disappointment and longing from her mate.

"I'm sorry dear but I don't think that would be smart." They turned their heads around to see an Illyrian woman standing behind them. "That is if you ever want to be able to visit your sister again Rhys."

"Mother." her mate breathed and then he was right there in front of her embracing her tightly. He wasn't the only one however as immediately Cassian, Mor, and Azriel were embracing the woman tightly. Once they all backed up from the hug, Cassian unfroze from the shock first and introduced Nesta to Rhys' mom. Surprisingly, Nesta was very pleasant and polite to the women and even struck up a conversation with her until Rhys introduced Feyre. Both females cried and Nyx got to meet his grandmother.

"I actually retrieved your ring from the Weaver where you left it" Feyre cried.

"So you did. Then I guess even if I hadn't already accepted you I would've had to. Where is it dear."

"Oh well I would show you but your daughter has it. She took it earlier." The look on his mother's face was disapproving.

"Oh let her keep it Mirana. It's hers by birth after all" said a voice that Feyre definitely did not like. It was too cold and had undertones of cruelty that she did NOT like. "I think it's best you left anyways. Before Velaris figures out you're here."

"Rhen she would never. I know our daughter. Velaris wouldn't," said Rhys' mother the supposed Mirana.

"Are you sure? She is my daughter after all. My pride and joy. Always had a taste for cruelty unlike some," Rhen gave a glance to Rhys and then continued, "Besides she hasn't forgotten what you did Rhysand. I'm not sure if she'll forgive you either after all how could she forgive you if you haven't even forgiven yourself yet. Now you all really should leave before you are forced to. Except you of course Amren. Come back any time."

Amren was in fact standing behind all of them, but none of the Inner Circle had realized being too focused on Rhen and determining if he would actually harm them.

"It will always surprise me how different you act to daughter and everyone here than you ever have to your son" Amren said.

"Look I don't know who you are but I won't tolerate you speaking badly about my mate. Or anyone else in my family because I've noticed the looks you've been giving them" Feyre finally cut in.

His laugh in her ears was cold and deadly. "I think it's time for you to leave High Lady. Go on and run back to the court my bastard of a son weakened and maybe your son won't be forced to stay here permanently." She snarled at him along with most everyone else there.

"If you even think about it, Rhen...don't," Amren snarled, "Though I think it is time for us to go or we will be stuck here for a year."

And as Feyre and Rhys stepped through the portal to go back home they both gripped Nyx a little tighter than they had before.

"I don't know that I want to visit your family again Rhys," Feyre laughed.

"No. I want you to meet my sister. She would love you. I don't care what my father said. She would forgive me," he said but then turned back to her with tears in her eyes, "Wouldn't she? She isn't like him. She's not."

"She's not you know. I don't think so at least. Just fiercely protective of her family" Amren chimed in and then finally walked down the stairs from the House of Wind and everyone else went back to watch the stars determined to have a good Starfall no matter what happened.

*Gasp* its a long chapter! no but seriously this chapter is like
2.5 times longer than all the others and I just got lazy and
