"Hey, Natsuki!!" Sayori said, running up to hug me. "AGH! Let go of me!" I shouted out. I heard Yuri giggle behind her book. I turned to look at her. When she knew I noticed, she got embarrassed and stuffed her head into the book even more. I let out half-a-smile. "Sooo, did you bring a poem?" Sayori asked me. "Ah- um- yeah." I said, stuttering. "Yayyy!" Sayori jumped cheerfully. I looked behind me and saw MC. I soon after saw Monika walking up to him. They chatted while I continued staring at my poem until sharing time came up. "Okay, everyone! It's about time we all share our poems." Monika said. I was going to walk up to Yuri until I saw MC walk up to her. I looked down at my desk. Suddenly, somebody walks up at my desk. I looked up. Sayori? "Hey! Wanna share poems?! I'm so excited!" Sayori said, holding her poem in her hand. "Oh, yeah. Sure." I said back. Me and Sayori shared poems while MC shared with the others. After me and Sayori shared, MC walked up to me. "What do you want?" I asked him. MC remained silent for a moment. "Right...sharing time." I mumbled.

MC showed me his poem. "It's alright for a newbie, I guess." I stated, giving the poem back to him. "...Thanks." MC said. "Well, whatever. Just take my poem." I handed my poem to him and looked away. MC read my poem and looked back up at me. "You didn't like it, right?" I mumbled. "I liked it. It's a good poem!" MC said, handing my poem back to me. "Whatever. You're just saying that to make me feel better." I said. "No, I mean it." MC said, trying to be nice. I took a look at Yuri to see her staring at MC, half her face under her book. My fists tighten. "Okay, everyone!" I flinch, looking at Monika. So does everyone else. "Well, it's probably time we end this meeting. I'll see you all tomorrow! Don't forget to write a poem to share." Monika said cheerfully. I glanced at MC, then quickly packed my bags. Sayori and MC chatted, walking out the club together. "Hey Yuri, wanna share tomorrow?" I asked her. She remained silent for a moment. '...Of course, Natsuki." Yuri said, holding her bag. I smiled, and we both walked out the door.

As soon as I walked home, I quietly went to my bedroom and quickly got on my phone. I scrolled through my apps out of boredom. Since I was bored, I decided to text Yuri. "hey, u awake? : p" I texted her. "Yeah, I am." Yuri texted back. "what r u doing?" "Well, I'm just writing a poem for tomorrow. You should too, lol." Yuri texted, reminding me of tonight's assignment. "omg i forgot i need to go do that (╯‵□′)╯︵┴─┴ " I texted, turning off my phone and grabbing a pen and paper. I wrote my poem, looking at the clock each minute. I need to do this, and fast. As I was finally done with my poem, I plopped into my bed and slowly fell asleep.

As my phone vibrated, I woke up to turn off my alarm. I checked the clock and it was... 12:00 AM! I'm late! I quickly took off my pajamas and put different clothes on, grabbed my bag, and swiftly ran to the literature club. I busted into the room and saw everyone glaring at me. Well, except Monika. "Where's Monika?" I asked, looking around the club room. "We don't know..." Sayori replied. Well, at least I'm not the only one that's late. I take a glance at Yuri. As usual, she's stuffed up in her book, forgetting others even exist. I walked up to her and plopped down on the floor beside her. "Whatcha reading?" I asked her. "Well... I don't know if you'd like it. You said you hated horror, right?..." Yuri asked me. Right. I freaked out and tried to impress the new member. Why am I even trying to impress a newbie, anyways? Ugh... "Well, sometimes. But, I can enjoy a few horror books now and then!" No, I cannot. "Oh... well, it's called the Portrait of Markov." Yuri said, looking down at the book. "Wow. What's it about?" "Well... it's hard to explain." Yuri said timidly. "Okay, everyone! It's sharing time! Get your poems up and ready to share!"

Once again, MC shared with Yuri. What's his problem, huh? Fuckin' douche... is he doing this to make me mad? He doesn't even know I like her... unless Yuri told him? Ugh... I'm overthinking. I just hope this dude doesn't like her. As I thought Sayori was going to walk up to me, she instead shared with Monika. I mean, that's fair I guess. I remained alone. Although, something caught my eye when Monika was whispering something to Sayori. She remained quiet and looked upset. I'd walk up to her, but MC remained in my way. "Hey, wanna share?" "Sure." Me and MC shared poems. I couldn't take my eyes off of Sayori, though. What's up with her? After sharing with MC, I decided to walk up to Sayori. "Hey... you alright?" I asked Sayori. "Huh? Yeah! I'm alright!" Sayori said, trying to be cheerful. "Are you sure? You seemed upse-" "I'm alright, okay? No need to worry." She cut me off. "... Alright." I said, walking away. "Okay everyone! It's time to end today's meeting. I'll see you all Monday! Make sure to write a poem to bring to class for when you come back!" Monika said, hands on her hips. I walk up to Yuri. "Hey, I have a question..." I tell her. "Yes?" Yuri replied. "Do you...like MC?" I asked her. Yuri remained silent, and thought for a moment. "I... I don't, Natsuki. I like you, okay? Why would you think that?" Yuri asked me. "No reason... just a question. I'll see you tomorrow, Yuri." "Wai-" I grabbed my bag and walked out of the club.
