Spider Man No Way Home SPOILER TALK

Spoiler Talk!!

Okay, I've just come back from the theatres. There is so much I want to talk about, so here we go. Final chance to back out!! 

Tell me your thoughts as you read along!

So the first thing I want to talk about is just the plot in general. I love how they made us think of the villains as sympathetic, and I loved how Spidey tried helping them even though they were villains. It just shows how great Peter is and how much of a hero Spider-Man is. I'm kinda sad Dr.Strange was cut out, but I do understand it is a Spider-Man movie.

So another thing I want to talk about is just the way the movie started and showing how hectic his life has been. One problem I'm thinking about now is that there should have been more consequences. If this was real life, I don't think he would have been let go and handled like this. I feel like, after the opening, he was just left to do whatever. He could just walk around and not get in trouble for the rest of the movie. Otherwise, I really love how they showed it. I REALLY wanted to see a better reaction from Flash, but I loved the tiny moment with him. I really like how they showed the panic with humor, but I also don't understand why he went to school. Maybe stay undercover for a while?!?

Freaking Daredevil. WHY DID THEY GIVE US SO LITTLE?!? I just started watching Daredevil, and he is such a cool character. If you've seen the most recent Hawkeye episode, you'll know why this is so important. I love how we got a hint of his powers, but I wanted to see him maybe in court with Peter.

VILLIANS. Where do I begin?! Perfect, let us start there. I love how Doc Ock was basically a hero. I think it was the perfect way for him to be seen, and kinda redeem himself. Although more action would've been cool with him. And I really wanted to see the villainous side of him. But I loved him anyhow.  I LOVED the bride scene. I'm so sad that Green Goblin wasn't really involved like we thought. Speaking of him, William Defoe played him perfectly. The way he was able to switch between calm Osborn, and psychopathic Green Goblin was just *chefs kiss*. I love how like all the villains, he originally started off good and willing to help. But I'm not sure about the rest. The Lizzard, Sandman, and Electro, I just think they could've done way more with them!! Electro had cool powers and is what I think is the main villain, but he was just meh. And the Lizzard and Sandman were just there to be a nuisance. I loved how Sandmand helped Peter in the beginning, but I feel like they were just there. I didn't feel overwhelmed by all of the villains, and all of the fight scenes were cool.

Aunt May. Where to begin. I figured she would die, and I knew she would die because someone spoiled it for me. But for a year now, I've kept up with all of the leaks and rumors so I figure either she or Happy would die. As soon as she said the power and responsibility line, I knew she was gone cause of Uncle Ben. I was sadder than I thought. She hasn't been that big of a character, but Marisa Tomei just brought her to life and she was so supportive of Peter. Also, the acting was amazing Tom, Marisa, even Zendaya and Jacob made you feel sad. And the way it made Peter thirsty for revenge made it perfect!!

Spider-Men. I have no words. I was literally shaking when they appeared, and the whole audience cheered. I knew they had to be in this movie, yet the feeling of them being on screen is literally indescribable. I've never actually seen these movies tbh, but I've been following Spider-Man No Way Home for ages, so I knew everything about them. But I loved their chemistry. Them talking about people they lost, their spider webs, and working together at the end was just incredible. I've said this so many times, but that is what this movie is. Incredible. Andrew saving MJ was such a good way to give him closure, and I feel like this completed his arc. In the end, I thought Tobey was gonna die. I almost cried. My dreams literally came true. I never expected to see them again, and this made me so happy. I hope we see them again. Although we probably won't. I don't know what else to say about them. I got out of the movie about an hour ago, and I'm still speechless.

The ending of the movie broke my heart. I know it had to be done, but I wish MJ and Ned didn't have to forget Peter. This also left me with so many questions, like the Avengers. They worked with him. Do they forget? How will this play out? Will MJ and Ned ever know again?? I was even sad to see the villains go. And especially the other Spider-Men. I also want to know what other villains would have come through if this ending didn't happen. I have so many questions, and I NEED ANSWERS. I also wonder where Peter is going next. People don't really know/remember him, and he has his own house and own life. Where will he be next? And what will we do? Tom has said Spidey may be retired for now, and his future is somewhat unknown, so I'm just really curious.

I'm rushing to get this out, so let's talk about the end credits. I have not seen Let There Be Carnage. But I do know the end credits. So if you haven't seen it, maybe skip or leave? I'm so sad Eddie and Venom left the MCU. Some of the symbiote was left, but I was really excited for Eddie to interact with Peter. I think he will come back eventually. But for now, I can't wait to see what will happen with the symbiote. Is it Venom? Or a whole new being? Who will it be attracted to? Spider-Man or someone else? And how will it get to New York? Finally, THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS TRAILER!! I love how this was connected to the movie because it does lead into the events. Wanda, perfect of course. I love her costume upgrade. As for America Chavez, I'm excited to see Xochitl Gomez. She was amazing in the Babysitters Club show, and I'm so proud of her.
