Chapter Seventeen- Going Home

Lucius Malfoy arrested for attack in Hogwarts student
Lucius was arrested for attacking Hogwarts student, Avalee Weasley. He had been behind almost every attack in the student. He was found disguised as his son, on the say of his arrest. Upon being given the truth serum, he told all about the attacks and how he had been told to kidnap the girl. According to our sources, the student had been attacked months before by Bellatrix Snape, her alleged kidnapper. Bellatrix is also serving a long sentence at Azkaban for being an escaped convict as well as kidnapping. Our sources tell us that the student is healing well and is doing better. She will be returning home to her birth family, the Weasleys. Arthur and Molly both told us that Avalee is a strong child. She has survived multiple attacks as well as twelve years in captivity. They say that she will be able to overcome the aftermath of this attack. The family will be effected for a while after this.
The trial for Lucius Malfoy is set to be I'm July first at mine o'clock in the morning. We will keep you all abreast of the development in this story. Our well wishes go out to this family.

The article makes me wish I didn't have to go through this. Not only do I have to be the student, but I also have to be at the trial. I have to testify against him. Something that I fear. It's my last day at Hogwarts and Morgan and Charlie graduated today. They get to go out into the real world and begin their lives. Morgan has a job at Hogwarts as a nurse in the hospital wing. Charlie has a job going to Bulgaria to study dragons. As I pack my things for the return trip home, I feel sad to be leaving. I had grown comfortable here. I had wanted to be here longer and explore the wonders if the school. sidewalk toward the wagons that are taking us to the train. Hermione and I walk side by side. She is my best friend. We get into a wagon and ride off toward the train.
"It's good to be going home." She says, "Though I'll be coming to visit this summer. My mum and dad said I could."
"That's great. I am sad to be leaving. After all the bad things that happened, I wanted to stay and explore the castle and learn more and focus on being a witch." I say, "Though it is good to be doing home."
She smiles and we watch the landscape change as we ride by. We reach the train and find my family in a car already. We join them and I smile as we feel empty without Morgan and Charlie.
"Your coming to visit this summer right?" Asks Harry.
"Of course I am. My parents said I can." Says Hermione.
The train pulls away and I finally relax. This term, my first one, seemed hard. I don't want to think about what happened this year. I busy myself with watching the changing landscape and imagining what this summer will be like. I pull out a letter from Dane.

Avalee,
The time is close for me to see you. Though I can't say when that will be. Something big happened and I can come sooner than I hoped. We will meet and I can't wait. This will.be my last letter for a while, because I returning home for the summer and I can't write from there. I hate going back there, but hopefully before long I will be out of there before long. Have a great summer with your family. Sorry I can't come sooner.

I put it away and wish I could help her. I am finally happy and safe. I want to live I that before I go trying to find and save someone. I smile at the others as they talk about what they want to do for the summer. All I want to do ha get to know my family and spend time with Hermione when she comes. I want to know my family as well as they know each other. I missed twelve years of that, I need to make up for that. The trial is in a month and I am nervous. I sigh because the thoughts of Lucius Malfoy keep coming up in my thoughts.
"So Avalee, what are your plans for this summer?" Asks Ron.
"Well I want to get to know you all more. I have twelve years to make up." I say. "Then I want to spent time with Hermione when she comes to visit."
"That sounds like a plan." Says Hermione.
I smile as the train pulls up to the station. I follow the others out, with my belongings. My parents are waiting for us as we exit the train. I hug Molly and Arthur. I am happy to be home again. I follow them through the station and to their car. I climb in and wait for us to leave. Everyone gets in and we take off. I don't listen to the conversation. I just take it all in. I have a family, brothers and a sister. A mother and father, who love me. A home where I have freedoms. Even though I have a stressful trial coming up, I know I belong with my family. I live them just as they love me.

I am glad to finally be home...
