I stood in shock as I was called onto stage. Being rewarded and nominated as the best screen actor was amazing. I thanked people as their claps roared around the room. Once I make it on stage I take the award into my hand and stand at the podium. The claps die down and I took a deep breath.
I lean into the microphone and take in that it's all real. "I never thought that I would be here: standing on stage in front of the most famous people including myself," I said making them laugh. "No. But, um, seriously I really wouldn't be here without my mom. She never gave up on me even in the hardest time and I really couldn't love her less," I said looking over at my momma who sat next to Andrew at our table. She smiles and waves as people clap.
"And not to mention the person of every man and woman's dream, Andrew Garfield. My literal best friend and the love of my life. The sweetest person who's the first ever boyfriend of mine to get along with my mom. Can we clap it up for that?!" I ask and claps feel the air. I sit down the reward and clap as well smiling at him. He claps as well.
I lean back into the microphone and take the award back into my hand. "I love everyone more than I love myself and please don't let anyone— I mean anyone— fuck up your dreams. Thank you." I smile and wave as I walk off the stage.
