The Darkness

It's been a week since my injury and after informing management my match against Drew at NXT Takeover was cancelled but many superstars came by to check on me most called me a hero for my action which made me smile.

"This is so boring Seth on Raw and Becky on Smackdown I think I'll head down to the gym" I tell myself as I get dressed and head down to the gym where I start doing the punching bag after 30 minutes of hitting the punching bag I feel my head hurt as I rub my eyes as a voice calls out to me. "Hey you ok dude" the male said as I look and to my surprise was a friend of mine from school. "Hold on Tony is that you" I say as he nods and looked at me confused before taking a closer look and remembers me.

"[Fn] holy crap how you been man" Tony says as he hugs me and we go sit down to catch up with each other. "I've been good what about you last I heard you got married" I say and I see a sort of sad but happy smile on his face as I was a little confused. "Yeah actually I have 2 kids a little girl named Valkyrie and she's 2 years old then you have my son Loki he's 7 years old however I lost my wife 2 years ago" Tony told me as I place a hand on his shoulder to show my support.

"I'm sorry to here that" I say as he shows me a picture he had of his kids and wife but I suddenly remember seeing her back in school. "Hold up you married book worm Mina" I say as Tony chuckles at hearing his wife's old nickname and I watch him look at the picture. "Yeah and it was the best decision I ever made" Tony told me as I smile at him as I rub my eyes again as my headache feels a little worse as I say goodbye to Tony and head back to the room I was sharing with Seth and Becky but as I got back I see Becky reading her book but no sign of Seth.

"Where is Seth" I asked as Becky looks at me before putting her book down. "He has to travel to the next location so he won't be back for while" Becky told me as I head into the bathroom to get changed I take some pain killers before going to bed for some sleep. During the night I woke up with my head hurting like hell so I took some pain killers but the pain just felt it get worse as I held my head before splashing my face with water and return to sleep.

The next morning I wake feeling like shit and I notice Becky had gone but left a note saying she had to appear on Smackdown but she would be back later so I get washed and dressed before heading out to do some shopping. "Lets see what should I get oh this looks good" I tell myself as I feel that same pain from yesterday shoot through my eyes before I go and pay for the item and begin heading back to the hotel but I am having trouble seeing clearly and step out into the road before a pair of hands pull me back and I hear Tony's voice. "[Fn] you crazy a car nearly hit you" Tony says but as I look in the direction of his voice all I could see was pitch black darkness after that Tony helped me back the hotel but we sat down in lobby to talk.

"Ok dude spill what is going on with you" Tony asked worried about me but that was how he was since school always looking out for me like a brother. "I can't see" I tell him and he didn't even speak but I could tell he was shocked or at least guess. "Come on I'm taking you to the hospital" Tony told me as he helps me up and guides me to his car before we drive off for the hospital.

After we arrived and booked an appointment a doctor came to see us and found no problem with my eyes before sending me to x-ray which actually found the problem a small shard of bone was putting pressure on my brain causing me to go blind but thankfully we caught it before any permanentdamage was done. "Doc how is he" Tony asked as the doctor removed his gloves and mask before smiling. "Your friend will be fine with a little rest he should be able to see in about 3 months" the doctor says as I'm brought out in a wheelchair with badages covering my eyes as Tony takes me back to the hotel room where he explained everything to Becky who calls Hunter to inform them of the situation.

"Um Becky can I just say I'm sorry for being so much trouble" I tell her as Becky sighs and I turn my head in that direction. "Your not trouble" Becky says as I smile before grabbing my bag from when I went shopping and pull out a box and hand it to Becky. "What is this" Becky asked before openning it and found a locket inside before she looked at me.

"I saw on the calander before that today was your birthday so I thought I would just grab you a present happy birthday Becky" I tell her with a smile on my face before we head to sleep but not before she gave me a kiss to the cheek. As I lay unable to see anything all I could hear was the soft sound of Becky sleeping peacefully and smile as I drift off to sleep.

The next morning I wake up and using the edge of the room guide myself to the bathroom as I got washed I heard the bathroom door open and I turn my head which was pointless since I couldn't see but using logic the only person it could be was Becky before I hear her quickly close the door. "I'm so sorry I didn't know you were in there" Becky said as I put a shirt on and exit the bathroom but not before speaking to Becky. "Don't worry I saw you in the locker room by accident so I think this makes us even ok" I say giving her a goofy smile as I could only guess she was smiling as well.
