KATE DRAGGED HER FEET to the front door of the Davenport household. Today was the dreaded day that her newfound friends were being moved. She still wasn't sure what was going on with them, or why they were living in Donald's basement, but she was willing to put it aside and compose herself before knocking on the door.

A disappointed Leo opened the door, ushering his best friend to the group of people surrounding a version of the bionic siblings.

"There's six of them?" She wondered, eyes narrowed in confusion.

"They're robo us!" Adam beamed, going for a closer look at his replica.

"Why..?" She drawled, looking at Donald for an answer.

"In case you miss these trouble makers." He smiled, pointing to his three lab rats.

"Uh huh." Kate nodded. "Or, hear me out. Don't send them away?" She suggested, shrugging her shoulders.

Inspecting her duplicate robot, Bree let out a scoff of disgust. "Does my nose really look like that?"

"No." Robot Bree spoke. "Your nose has a faint moustache underneath."

Bree covered the bottom half of her face in embarrassment, while Chase obnoxiously laughed at her.

It was Robot Chase's turn to speak, and his sights never left real Chase. "Hey everyone, i'm Chase." It greeted. Chase's smiled dropped.

"Let's do ma-ma-ma-" It malfunctioned, waiting for Mr Davenport to hit it in the stomach. "-math."

Everyone couldn't help but crack a laugh, causing Chase to whine. "That is not funny!"

"Oh, you're right!" Adam began. "It's fu-fu-fu-" Kate smacked his chest, repeating what Donald had done to the robot. "-funny." He finished, continuing to laugh in his brothers face.

Chase crossed his arms, huffing with a frown, earning a soft pat on the shoulder from Kate.

The doorbell ringing was enough for the whole house to drop their smiles, knowing what was next. Mr Davenport opened the door, revealing a man in a black suit wearing sunglasses.

"Hey, Fits, how's it going?" Donald asked, getting so reply.

"How's life? How's tricks? Alrighty then." He finally gave up trying to get an answer out of him, turning to his family—and Kate, with a smile.

"You guys should've seen him at the Christmas party. He's a karaoke master."

"Well, I guess this is it." Bree faltered, slinging an arm around Kate. "Thanks for everything." She looked between her two new best friends with a grateful smile.

Nodding in agreement, Chase gently squeezed Kates hand. "Yeah, you guys are the best friends we've ever had."

"No, they're the only friends we've ever had." Adam reminded them, matter-of-factly.

Leo and Kate watched with obvious frowns, as they walked out the door. Donald didn't seem to care, which only made Kate more upset.
