One Night and 4 Guys

My senior year, I thought it would be different. On the first day of school everyone was looking at me and telling me how sorry they were. Some was still ignoring me like before. At least Chloe was gone the guys too, I haven't seen Roman or Jasper. Coleman came to the hospital and sat with me, mom said Jasper and Roman did too, but they only came once I don't remember him being there, mom said he didn't look good he was blaming himself. Tess told me when his dad asked where he was that day, because it was his turn to walk me to the library. He told his dad that Mrs. Smith wanted to talk to him about his final grade. of course that was a lie, because when all the shit went down and the cops showed up. Coleman was seen coming out of a classroom with Chloe and Roman, and everyone knew what had been going on in that classroom. I don't know what to feel, I thought my stocker might have given up to. It had been three months since I had got a letter. But at the same time I was still mad at him. It wouldn't have taken that long to walk me to the library. They would have still had time to go off with Chloe. It's  like he just didn't care, Roman too I don't know what I ever did to them. I don't know why he even showed up to sit with me...This year has gone by fast, I have taken as many classes as I can. So I only have to go to college for one year. I have a photographic memory so learning is easy for me. I can't wait to get out of here, it was hard the first few weeks coming back here. I still don't go to the library, I know face your fear and all that. But I just don't think I can do it. Tess said she would go with me, Julia only has lunch with us or she would be coming too. Hollers at me. I make my way over to her as we round the corner. I see Cory leaning against the wall waiting for us. Cory is the one that helped me that day, well his dad too his dad is the football coach. They had heard me scream and coach tackled the guy. Cory put a clean shirt on my stomach to stop the bleeding. David was my stocker, I only saw him one time in the hallway. He moved here to live with his aunt. Someone had knocked his books out of his hand, so I helped him pick them up. Big mistake apparently he became interested in me and took it to far. Tess keeps telling me, I can't go through life and not help anyone or smile at them. I know she is right. "Hey gorgeous " Cory says, I don't say anything back because I think he is taking to Tess, and I am used to guys telling her that. I mean she is gorgeous black hair and dark eyes, a flawless complexion she has a great body. Un like me who where's baggy clothes and I put my hair up, my glasses are probably to big for my face. I feel Tess elbow me and I look at her to see what her problem is. But she is looking at Cory who is hot and gorgeous himself he has blonde hair and light blue eyes. He has dimples when he smiles, "Um hi Cory "I say he is running his eyes all over me then back to my face. " Are you okay " he asked "Yes, I am fine "I say "What are you doing here? " I ask, "I came to be with you, it's the first time you are going to the library right?"
"Yeah" I say "Well I couldn't let you two go with out me" he says then winks at me. I can feel myself blush, I have never had a guy look at me like Cory is. I know he is just being nice and it doesn't mean anything. "Okay" I nod my head and to my shock he reaches down and holds my hand. "Ready " he asked I give a little nod and we walk over to the library, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, yes I was having flashbacks. But this time I knew someone had heard me and they came to help me. It was still hard to come back here. Maybe I can do it without a panic attack. I feel Cory squeeze my fingers and I look up at him. He is looking at me to see if I am okay.
"I'm okay " I say "Good" he says, Tess puts her arm around my shoulder and gives me a side hug."Okay I think I am good now let's go get some food " I say, they both look at me like I am crazy, but give in and we go get food. While we are eating it dawns on me that Cory, has seen my stomach when he was putting pressure on where I was stabbed not that he was paying attention to that, but now he knows I am not hiding fat. Like Chloe says, I have. The rest of the day goes by fast. We only have three months of school left. Tess is planning a little party after graduation and for her birthday. Just a few friends and of course the assholes are coming, I am definitely going to avoid them. Cory can't come he has to go check out a college that weekend. I am still not sure what happened but he keeps starting at me and smiling. Tess said he likes me. I think she is full of shit. So that's how my senior year went I can't believe how fast it flew by. Today is graduation I can't wait to get out of here. Yes I am going to miss Tess, and Julia but it's only for a year and they can visit me and FaceTime. I am going to live with my Nanna in Florida. Mom and Dad think it will be good for me to get away for a while. I am also having a house built. My grandpa left me an inheritance. Even though my family has money. We still got a summer job with the company and learned how to save money. I bought my first car with mine own money and it felt great. When dad and his best friends came here and started businesses together they also bought a lot of land they all built houses next to each other and gave the kids land incase they wanted to build a house. So we live in a gated community a family one. Even though they built their houses they aren't that close together. I had five acres to build my house on and still have a big yard. So while I am at college dad is going to get his construction crew started on my house. It should be done when I graduate. I can't wait to start my new life. As soon as I get to my Nanna's I am getting a makeover. I am getting laser eye surgery so, no more glasses. It's going to be a great year! I have to keep believing that.
