I can't believe this, I am looking at a picture of Tess, Lennox and Julia on Snapchat. But the only thing I can focus on is that Lennox is pregnant. I don't know much about it but she looks around five or six months, I go to my moms number and hit call. It rings three times "hello " hi mom " I say "hey honey what's up "she says " how long have you known Lennox was pregnant? I hear my mom sigh " I have known since October she wasn't telling everyone just us women."so dad didn't know " "yes he knows Connor told him you know they don't have secrets from each other "she says "so Lennox is okay with her dad telling his friends? I ask " she told him it was okay to tell his friends because we are all like family to her "mom says. "Do you know who the father is? I ask "yes we do but if you want to know you need to ask Lennox, we aren't going to tell anyone that's up to her " mom says "okay thanks mom" I say "is that the only reason you called? She asks "yeah and to tell you I won't be home this weekend Jasper and I are working at the garage" I say "okay I love you cole" "love you too mom"bye I hang up and go upstairs, I knock on Jaspers door "come in" he says I open the door he is sitting on his bed, it looks like he ran his fingers through his hair a lot it's sticking up. "Hey man" I say he looks at me and I can see the hurt on his face."hey " he says "You saw the picture on Snapchat too? I say, he nods his head "I didn't know she was dating anyone" he laughs "why wouldn't she I was stupid to think she would stay single until I got my shit together "he says."you alright? I ask him "yeah I'm fine but I won't be going to work this weekend I am going home to find out who she is dating " he says,I nod my head "okay I will call and tell them, your in love with her aren't you? I ask "yeah I have been for a long time " he says. I nod my mind goes back to that day. I was in a hurry so I told Lennox she would be okay, it wasn't that far and she hadn't heard anything from her stocker in three months. I got a text message from ms. Smith about my final grade, she said I had five minutes to get there to talk about it. Roman could have walked with Lennox but he was supposed to meet Chloe somewhere. She told him it was very important and couldn't wait something about what she had seen in the office about the college we are going to. But when I get to ms. Smith's class room she isn't there Chloe and Roman are. I had to stop at my locker to get my bag, that's how Roman made it before me."what the hell is going on Chloe? I ask "oh you know I thought we all could have some fun one last time "I look at Roman and see he is mad to "so you sent me that message? "I ask,"Yeah I did I used the same computer from the office that ms.smith uses" I hear Roman walking over to the door."Roman where are you going? "Don't you want me to give you a blow job? Chloe asks, "No Chloe I don't want you touching me ever again we are done " he says and opens the door that's when we hear the sirens Roman runs out the door, I am right behind him I don't even look to see if Chloe is following us. we get outside and there are cops and an ambulance. Roman see's Jasper sitting on the curb by the library.we run over to him, I have never seen my best friend cry before. He has tears in his eyes,"what happened "I ask him, he looks at me then at Roman " he got her Lennox's stocker tried to take her and she fought him back, he stabbed her in the stomach and hit her coach and Cory heard her scream, they got there in time coach tackled him to the ground and Cory stopped the bleeding" Jasper says, I just stand there and look at everyone running around. I look over at Roman and I see him looking at the ambulance he looks so mad at him self. I know I am why did I leave her? We did exactly what her stocker wanted we let are Guard down. He had just been waiting he knew we would leave her alone. If he stopped sending her letters. Just then we hear a shot and look the crazy stocker took a gun away from a new cop, and got shot. Well Lennox won't have to worry about him. Jasper gets up and he says he is going to the hospital to see how Lennox is. Roman says he will take him, he looks at me I shake my head no. I feel so bad right now. Later that night my parents come home and tell me everything. Dad asks me where I was. So I tell him I went to meet with my teacher about my grade, but she wasn't there. So I told dad and mom everything that happened. Yes they were upset with me I should have walked with her. I will never forget the look on Jasper face when he saw the ambulance leave the school that day. I look at him now "what time do you want to leave tomorrow? I ask "I only have one class tomorrow it's at 9:00 so we can leave right after " he says "works for me "I say " what about Roman is he going to? Or does he even know yet? I ask. Just then we hear a loud bang from downstairs followed by heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. Roman storms in Jasper room and holds his phone in our faces "did you two see this "he asks "yeah we did that's what we are talking about, Jasper and I are going home tomorrow to find out who she's with " I say,"the hell with that I'll just call mom I know Tess isn't going to tell me "Roman says " good luck with that I tried asking my mom and she wouldn't tell me anything" I say Roman looks at Jasper and Jasper shakes his head "I already tried my mom, Julia and dad they won't tell me anything about it " jasper says "what the fuck" how can she be dating someone and us not find out about it? hell
We were just home a couple of weeks ago and helped on her house " Roman says "I don't know hopefully she doesn't slam the door in our faces " I say, why are you so upset about her dating someone? I ask," well I just don't want anyone dating her we need to find out" Roman says, and goes back out to his room and slams his door."well I guess I better go pack a bag " I say " yep me too " Jasper says, I get up and go back to my room and start packing. I just hope Lennox can forgive me, I have been going to therapy and talking about what happened, I had my last appointment yesterday. I still feel guilty but it has helped me talk about it. My doctor said that even if I had walked Lennox to the library that day. He still would have tried to take her some other time when she was alone. I guess he is right. Because after we would walk Lennox to her car, she was alone on the way home and if she stopped anywhere. I finish packing my back and get in bed. It's only 8:00 I really want to have a dream about Lennox, Jasper and Roman have told me all about the dreams they have had about her and how real they seem. So I want to dream about kissing every inch of her body, because that's the only way it will ever happen.
