A short chapter again because I still don't know what I'm doing

What I would wear if I could today, today club started in ten minutes and it wasn't like the Captain to be late - even if his answer was always the same. When it reached five-to Pat grew worried and left his room in search of the Captain. It didn't take him long to find the soldier staring absently at the TV, hands gripped tight around his swagger stick. Cautiously, as though the other man were an animal likely to be startled, Pat took a seat on the sofa next to him. 'You alright mate?' he asked gently.
'Ah, Patrick I didn't notice you enter the room', then, remembering that he'd been asked a question, 'I'm perfectly fine, thank you'.
'You sure? It's just that you look as if, pardon the phrase, you look as if you've seen a ghost'.
'I can assure you that I'm quite alright, now don't we have one of your clubs to attend to'. With that he got up, kness cracking, and marched out the room towards where the other ghosts had begun to gather. Not believing a word the Captain had said and still very much concerned about him, Pat followed the other man out the room to run his club.
