Pt.10 night of fun

"Eren are you kidding me." I laughed while trying to get the Laser Tag equipment on.

"No, this is going to be great!" He cheered and came over to help me.

"Thank you." I said while handed me my Laser gun.

"You ready to get started." He asked and slowly backed away from me.

"Oh it's game on." I said and turned around a corner.

We both went to a different side of the large room and waited for the instructions to play.

It was basically we both had five different hit points, all of them were connected to the same amount of charges, we both had fifteen. The goal was to get all fifteen hits on the other player in ten minutes. We had three different rounds.

"Ready, GO!" the game master said over the speakers and I ran straight up the stairs to get the high ground.

The room was set up with four staircases in each of the corners in the room, in this case it was four. The second floor was just a little slit of boards that went all the way around the room, exposing the remaining area in the middle. The rest was just a big maze like build.

I wandered around until I saw the faint flashing light of a green sensor. My eyes shot over to it and I saw Eren peaking around a corner. I aimed at him making sure it would hit the middle. Just as I shot he moved and it ended up missing.

"Damn it." I whispered under my breath.

It was a mistake to do so because when I tried to go to the spot he was just close to, he was gone.

I crawled slowly over to the stairs and made my way down. I slid behind a tall thin wall and took a little peak around the corner. I see Eren looking up, he must've heard when I was on the stairs. I thought this was the perfect time to get him so, without even looking I shot in his direction.

I was surprised when I heard the sound of the charges decreasing half a second later.

"Yes!" I whisper yelled and ran off.

I went in a large octagon shaped part of the room. I stood in one of the corners of it and waited.

I was fine until I heard the sound of two decreasing charges and looked above me to see Eren running away from me.

"I'm gonna kill you!" I yelled while running toward one of the stairs.

Eren was still up there so when I got to the top I shot three times in his direction and moved closer to him. Out of the three times I only hit once.

"Seven minutes." The automated voice from the clock called out and my attention turned to it.

I heard the sound of my charge decrease and I tried to shoot Eren again.

"Bruh this not fair I was looking at the clock!" I yelled running down the stairs.

"They said seven minutes, why'd you look?" He shot at me again but missed.

I shot at him once and it hit. I shot at him again and that one hit too. I hid in the corner under the stairs and waited for a second. I scanned the room slowly to make sure he would get me. I guess I wasn't paying that mush attention because my charge went off. I looked up and saw Eren again and shot up twice and missed both.

"Dang you're good." I said to myself and going to the middle of the room.

"Gotcha." He said one last time before shooting me one last time and it gave up all my charges.

"Damn it Eren." I said smiling.

"We'll it's not myself that sucks at this game. "He said it a mildly sly tone.
