Punishment

I woke up the next morning in the floor, which was really comfy, probably because they were 50 blankets underneath me. I turned over and saw Crawford's cute sleeping face. He was laying on his back so I put my arm and leg around him. He moved his arm under my head, "go back to sleep." He said in his gruff sounding morning voice. "Okay." I said quietly. I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep.

"I smell bacon!!" I heard brooke say. I opened my eyes and saw her sitting straight up sniffing the air like a dog.
"Are you a dog now?" I asked laughing.
"Only when I smell bacon!" She said quietly so we wouldn't wake up the others.
"Is that bacon??" Lina asked sitting up rubbing her eyes.
"We think so." I said laughing.
"We better get to it before the guys do!" Lina said getting off of the couch slowly, tying not to wake up Chris.
"Follow me!" Brooke said sniffing the air more.
"Brooke.. I think it's in the kitchen." I said.
"Let my nose do the work!" Brooke said.
"Your weird. I like it!" Lina said laughing. We walked in the kitchen,
"hey girls! Want some food?" Kate asked. I looked around the kitchen and into the dining room. Kate had made bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, waffles, more bacon, and had fruits out.
"I'm in heaven." Brooke said basically drooling.
"One plate of bacon is for Yall and the other is for the boys." Kate said laughing.
"What about you?" I asked.
"Oh I already ate sweetie! I'm gonna clean the house today!" Kate said. I don't know who this person is and what she has done with the Evil Monterous Step Mother I had. I mean I'm not complaining! But this is a huge change. All the sudden I felt someone tickling me, Crawford. "Stop! Please!" I yelled laughing. He stopped and then he saw the food..
"Don't go nuts!" I said putting my hands on his chest.
"I'm to shocked to go crazy." He said laughing.
"Everyone is awake now!" Kate said.
"Faith, seth I need to talk to you both real quick." Kate added. We walked into living room with Kate.
"Taryn and I talked for ever last night, and she came up with my puninishment. But she wanted me to run it by you two first." She said smiling a little.
"What is it?" Seth asked.
"House arrest for 3 months, 10 years of community service, therapy groups Monday, Wednesday, Friday's." She said.
"What about us?" Seth asked.
"I told her I didn't want you both going to foster care, so I agreed to become your legal guardian.. I mean if you want me to be! If not I understand." She said tearing up. "Give us time to think about it." I said. Kate nodded, "I'm gonna go clean now." She walked off.
"What do you think?" Seth asked.
"I don't know." I said. We walked in the kitchen and sat down and ate with the others.
