The Ride Home

I sat back down at the lunch table. "Ugh school food is gross." I said looking at it. "Agreed, I'm done." Crawford said standing up. "You want me to take that for you?" He asked me pointing toward my tray, "Uhh sure." I said. He picked it up and walked off. Seth took Brooke's too. "Wow." Brooke said. I'm speechless." She also said. "Your speaking, so your not speechless." I said. We laughed. As soon as the boys walked back the bell rang. "Bye brooke. Later Seth." I said to them as they walked off. I turned around to grab my bag, "I will walk you to class." Crawford said holding my bag. "Alright." I said blushing.

We talked and laughed on the way to my class. "Okay well here's my stop." I said. "Wanna go to a party with me tonight?" He asked. "A party?" I asked. "Yeah come on it will be fun!" Crawford said smiling. Oh lord it was cute, how could I say no. "Okay." I said. "Okay see you later." He said walking off. Wow. "Faith don't be tardy." My teacher said laughing. "Sorry." I said walking in class.

After school...

I was standing by the car waiting on Seth and Brooke. Could they walk slower! "Faith need a ride?" Crawford yelled. I should just wait for Seth. Besides I'm not allowed to ride with anyone else.. "Yeah! Seth is taking to long!" I said. "Come on then!" He said smiling. I walked toward his car, it was a black mustang convertible. My mom will be really mad at me, but I don't care. He took my bag and put it in the trunk. I jumped in the car.. Literally. He started the car, "you pick the radio station." He said. "Or I could plug my phone in." I said smiling. "True!" He said laughing. We jammed all the way home. He parked the car in his drive way. "I'm not sure what time I'm leaving so I will call you." He said. "Your gonna need my number first." I said. "Yeah." He said. I gave him my number. And walked across the yard. Wait! What was I gonna wear to the party! I'm gonna need Brooke's help!
