"Faith?" Seth said knocking on my door. "It's open." I say. Seth walked in and walked in my bathroom where I was straightening my hair. "How did it go last night?" He asked smiling. "Good I guess." I said smiling. "You guess?" He asked. "Yeah we'll the whole time I was thinking of dad and I missed him." I said sniffing a little. "And I kinda got high." I added not making eye contact with Seth. "How was it?" He asked. Whoah. I wasn't excepting that. "It took my mind off things." I said laughing. "You missed a piece in the back." He said. I handed him my straightener and let him fix it for me. Seth would always watch our mom do my hair, so after she died Seth helped me out. Because dad just couldn't do it.
{FLASHBACK}
"Ow!" I yelled. "Sorry honey." My dad said. "Dad that hurts!" I whined. "Dad we are gonna be late." Seth said walking in the bathroom. "Uhh. Dad want some help?" Seth asked. "Yes please." He said stepping back and letting Seth put my hair is pig tails. We we're 7 and were trying to get to school. "Thank you." Dad said to Seth. "Princess you ready?" He asked me.
{FLASHBACK OVER}
"Faith you okay?" Seth asked. "Yeah I'm fine." A tear slipped from my eye. "Faith, it's okay." He said pulling me into a hug. I cried harder, "I miss him Seth, it's not fair." "I miss him too. Everything is gonna be okay." He said. Sometimes I wonder if Seth every gets tired of being strong. "Brads here!" We here step mom yell. "Get dressed!" Seth said. "I can't wear shorts and a tanktop?" I asked laughing. He walked out closing the door. I don't feel like dressing up so I put on skinny jeans with holes in them and Crawford's hoodie, and my converse. I walked down stairs. "Awe sweetie you feeling okay?" Step mom asked. "Yeah." I said. "Brad." I say looking at him. "How are you?" Brad asked. "Tired." I said walking in the living room and sitting in the chair. "Faith where did you get that hoodie?" Kate, my step mom asked walking in the living room. "Crawford." I blurt out without thinking. "Who?" She asked sitting on the couch. "The neighbor." I said again without thinking. "What's his name?" Brad asked. "Crawford.. Crawford Collins." I said. "Stay away from him." Brad said. "Why?" I asked. "Faith don't ask questions!" Kate said. "He isn't my dad. I have the right to ask why." I said. "His family have a bad record." He said. "Okay and?" I said. "He is a bad influence." Brad said. "He is my friend." I said standing up. "We don't care." Kate said. "Faith I forbid you from seeing him!" She said. Seth is just staring at us all, he stepped over to me. "That's a little much." Seth said. "Seth don't start." Kate said. She really just ticked me off. No Crawford. "Did you ever think you are the problem!?" I asked her. She turned around, "what did you just say?" She asked. I have all this anger built up from her and I just have to get it out. "You heard me." I said. "You better watch it." She demanded. "Or what? You gonna give us up for adoption so you can have all my dad's money to yourself?" I asked. "Come on Faith." Seth said grabbing my hand and we walked out the front door. I texted Crawford,
