Kaden POV

"so this girl Jaelyn you said, is she your girlfriend then?" Jeremy asked as we where sitting at my places just chilling before our game.

"no not my girlfriend, we are just dating right now. feeling things out you know how it goes" i tell him.

"right so you like her but think it's too soon to lock it down then?" he smirked.

"i mean i like her ya, but we are just feeling things out. we are both so busy right now. but we also haven't really had a conversation about being boyfriend and girlfriend." i tell him.

"well i think it's pretty serious if you are meeting her family. let alone invite them to our game" he claims.

"her family is important to her, which means they have to like me and approve of me." i really did because if they didn't well i am not sure i stood much of a chance.

"so you give her the jersey then?" Jeremy was grinning.

"ya i dropped it off to her earlier" i was smiling.

i wanted Jaelyn to have a real jersey, so i just happened to get her one.  But with my name and number on it of course.

"so have you kissed her yet?" Jeremy was nosy today.

i mean sure i have kissed her, i kissed her after our date. then i spent most of my time when i dropped off the jersey kissing her. i am not even joking when i say it was like magic. there where sparks when we kiss.

"i don't kiss and tell" i kept my face composed and shrugged.

"your so full of shit you know that" he laughed.

"maybe maybe not" it's not that i don't want Jeremy to know, he's my best bud. but i just don't want to risk the team finding out.

at least not yet, not till i know what this is between us. i want to make sure that it's actually something and i am not just imagining it. or if it doesn't work.

my apple watch pinged with a notification and. i saw the Jaelyn was texting me. so i pulled out my phone so i could respond.

"Jaelyn?" Jeremey asked.

"ya"

"i could tell you have a giddy look on your face when you talk to her or about her."
he claims.

"your one to talk" i shot back, he was so bad with Ginny.

"okay fair" he agreed with me.

after a couple hours Jermey had gone home, because  we both had to get ready. so here i am waiting at entrence fourty dressed in a black suit and a light blue shirt with a blue and white striped tie.

"Hey you" i heard come from behind me.

so i turned around and there was Jaelyn, she was buy herself. i am not quite sure where her family was. but i didnt care cause in this second i just wanted a moment to admire her. she looked fantastic in theses tight jeans and my jersey.

"well dang why do you always look so hadsome" she was grining.

"me? look at you. you look good with that number" i was grining it felt great to see her in it.

"you think so?" she raised her eyebrow.

"i know so" i gently pulled her closer to me. i placed my hands on her hip and she brought hers to the back of my neck. then i leaned down to place a quick kiss on her lips.

"just friends my ass" i heard a voice, whic caused us to brake apart.

and there was Bentley but not her parents. i saw Jaelyn roll her eyes and i just grinned.

"hey man nice to see you again" i hated how my voice sounded nervous.

"ya you too, at least your not glaring at me this time" he joked and i cringed i was hoping he hadnt noticed that.

just as i was about to ask where her parents where they appeared. her mom was grinning and well her dad i couldnt get a clear read on his face just yet.

"thanks for leaving us to fend for ourselves" her mom looked amused.

"whoops" Jaylen was bright red.

i just smiled down at her, so thats why she was buy her self. she left so that she could kiss me.

"mom dad this is Kaden, Kaden this is my Mom Sabrina and my dad Deon" she introduced us.

"nice to meet you both" i was sweating blulets.

"so where are we sitting?" Bentley asked.

"right" i pulled out the tickets from the pocket of my jacket. i had them in the first row just behind our player bench.

"your in section one eighteen, row one. seats twenty to twenty three" i handed them the seats. i hoped that they liked them.

"damn i have never been this close before" Bentley was grinning.

"well i have to get ready but i hope you enjoy, oh and here take this to. its a food and drink pass. you just show it at the vendors and they will take the price away. so dont be afraid to use it" i offerd up a black card that looked like a credit card.

"thank you Kaden thats sweet of you" her mom says.

i just smiled then gave Jaylen one last look before i had to go.

"good luck" she called out.

i turned around then shot her a grin. which she blushed and tucked a peice of hair behind her ear.
