Kaden POV

"i miss you" i sighed over face time to Jaelyn. i was on one of my long streches of games. so i havent seen her in like five days.

"your coming home tomrrow right?" she wondered.

"ya but thats so long" i complained like a baby.

she just laughed,"your so drmatic"

"can we hang out tommorrow?" i wanted to ask not just assume.

"depends on what time you get home. i have a biology test at school" she informed me.

"wont be till later in the day, i think like five or six" i responded.

"ya then i am free, i can meet you at your place?" she asked.

"sure if you get there before we have my door man let you in" i tell her.

"Kade i will just wait in my car for you, i dont need to wait in your place by my self" she looked timid.

"well what ever you decide i am okay with" i tell her.

she nods but then i noticed her face change.

"whats up?" i wanted to make sure i didnt say anything wrong.

"nothing its stupid" she brushed me off.

"tell me i can see something in your face" i give her a pointed look.

she sighed, " its nothing i am fine" she tried to assure me but i knew her so i knew something was wrong but i also knew not to push.

"alright if your sure" i gave her a weak smile.

she nodded her head, then i herd Jer coming into our room.

"sup man" he called out and flopped down on his bed. since we usally share when we are on the road.

"i will let you go" Jae says and then waved and hung up before i could get a word in.

"my bad didnt mean to intrupt." he puts his hands up in defence.

"nah your good, how was your visit?" i asked him.

"good mom is so pumped about the game tonight" he smiled.

we where in Arizona right now, and thats where Jer is from. so he just got back from meeting up with his family.

"thats good i cant wait to see your mom, she so sweet and i am pretty sure she loves me more" i was joking.

"jackass" he threw his pillow at me.

which caused us both to burst out laughing.

"so whats the deal with you and this Jaelyn girl? i want to meet the girl whos got my friend by his balls" he raised his eyebrows.

i rolled my eyes hes so dumb sometimes, "soon" was all i said.

"have you even made it offical yet?" he asked.

"no not yet, was planning to when we get back. we both have been so busy, i mean i havent seen her in almost two weeks. shes been cramming for school and we have been on the road. but tomorrow is the day for sure" i tell him with excitment.

i have been wanting to make it offical with her for a while, but have been nervous. what we have going is working good, but i know that at any moment it could stop, because we are not exclusive. so i just have to stop being a baby and just do it, because i really care about her.

and her family they are so nice, i had a great time when we all went out for diner after my game that night. her dad tried to be slick and cover the bill, but he didnt know that i called and asked the resturant to put it on my tab.
