It was a dark a stormy night. Hiruzen Sarutobi and a squad of Anbu black ops descend into the lab entrance used by Orochimaru for his illegal experiments and research. While the Fourth Hokage was busy keeping an eye on his pregnant wife and doing paperwork.

As the group of mine elite shinobi swiftly traveled through the dark lab, they were horrified by the things they found in there-dozens of corpses in various rooms and tubes. Some rooms were dedicated to just storing organs and different body parts.

The sights hardened the hearts of those hunting Orochimaru down for arrest as they approached the end of the lab. Hiruzen could only think about how far his student had fallen. 'What could have driven him to such a dark path? Why would he believe doing this thing in a time of peace was justified, much less appropriate? He would make him answer when he was captured and brought in by Jiraiya.

The Anbu we're ready to bench the last room. They were just waiting for the signal from their hokage. He gave it with a single flare of some charka; the breaching paper bomb lit up for half a second and then went off with blinding speed, the nine ninjas jumped out of the way of falling debris.

To their surprise, they find a huge glass tube with a baby inside. They walk over and decide to take the baby out once they sense there are no more traps in the room.

"He..."

The anbu studied the child, who looked like Orochimaru, but you could see his hair was indigo, and his eyes were a lighter shade of purple instead of gold and instead of black hair. The child starts crying as a guy in a fox mask is holding him.

"He has a son, but how and who is his mother?"

"I don't know, but the name on the tube says Shiduki," The fox mask anbu said.

A silence spreads around the room, and another Anbu speaks up.

"We kill him!"

Hiruzen approaches and picks up the child resting in his arms. The child stops crying and opens his eyes, and smiles at Hiruzen, making him think.

'This might be a chance to fix my mistakes with Orochimaru.'

He looks at a nearby ninja and speaks in a serious, firm voice.

"He will be known as Sarutobi Shiduki, an orphan of the Hidden Leaf village, and his father is to be classified. Nobody is to tell him or the children in his generation. Classified S rank, and if anyone is to say something about his father without my authorization, the punishment will be severe."

Everyone who was present was surprised but nodded their heads positively; a few minutes pass and upon arriving back in the village, and headed for the hospital to get the baby looked at. Hiruzen looked at the baby back in the fox mask guy arms and spotted the mark of the curse, and the guy looked at Hiruzen and spoke.

"Why are you letting the boy live? And taking care of him? He should be put in the orphanage?" He said.

Hiruzen stops, and the fox mask guy does too.

"He is an innocent child, Kitsune, and it's not his fault his father is a bad person. If we ignore him and treat him poorly, he could become like his father, so giving him home is a better solution," Hiruzen explained.

Soon they arrived at the hospital and headed the young baby off to the medic, who ran inside of a room to run a couple of tests on the baby, checking his health and a DNA test to figure out who his mother was.

Hiruzen looks st the boy through the glass window sadly, knowing the boy will have many problems being the son of a traitor to the Hidden Leaf village and bearing the cruse mark at the age of one-month-old.

Well, that was chapter one of this book; I hope you all enjoyed it! I honestly enjoyed writing this chapter, with it being my third Naruto fanfiction. I plan on writing more in the future, along with fanfiction of some of my other favorite animes. Also, sorry if the chapter is short. It was just a prologue, but the upcoming chapters will be longer.

Anyways don't forget to comment and vote!
