Chapter One: Summer Vacation

Welcome to my story! I hope you enjoy reading it. 

During the year 2000, on the 15th of August, a... girl? A girl was born an outcast, a troubled mind, a wolf in sheep's clothing. It was not all her fault. The girl simply picked up and played the cards she was dealt. Unfortunately, they were terrible cards. She tried to fit in, she really did, but she did not understand the system. So she gave up trying to be ordinary, embracing herself for what she truly is. She abides by no laws but the ones she sets for herself. She is unwilling to follow forced conformity. Her name is Zagan, better known as the Demon Lady. 

When Zagan is consumed by the Demon Lady, she has a very distinct appearance. One that is hard to forget when she is seen. Her eyes are cold, with no emotion, besides sadistic glee, and have slits for pupils like a snake. Her eyes are the same colors as when she is in control, with her right iris a golden, not amber, and her left iris a deep crimson. Her long hair -which is loosely curly in most places- retains its black color that fades into a dark blue. Her lips also have the same light blue deathly look as when she is free, but blood pours out of her mouth, like Niagara Falls. She has a dark shadowy halo that appears to be fading, and she keeps half of a broken human skull pinned on the right side of her head as when she is herself. When the Demon Lady has control over Zagan, she usually wears dressy clothes from either gender or what you would expect a flirt to wear. When Zagan is Zagan, she wears punkish female clothes, and she enjoys the shock she causes when she uses a voice to sound like a very hoarse man or demon. She also wears an eye patch over her crimson eye. The half-broken human skull she wears is a real skull, which she keeps as a trophy from one of her first victims. The Demon Lady's favorite colors to dress in are crimson, golden-yellow, white, and black, just like Zagan. 

Starting in the year 2019, on the 6th of August, four years ago, Zagan stopped waiting. And began her chaos again after two years of rest. The Demon Lady now only rests for around 12 to 18 months before hunting for more of what she is really looking for. The Demon Lady terrorizes adults and teenagers. Most people in the large city of Sharksfield, Jalenia -this is pronounced as Helenia- most individuals do not notice or care that others are going missing. People come and move away from Sharksfield regularly. Zagan is also being less sloppy with her victims, so everyone believes they merely ran away. A factor that has backed up this theory is the residents of Sharksfield have also been experiencing money stolen. And the Demon Lady has demonic abilities allowing herself to illusion herself as any scary thing she wants or simply turn invisible. This causes most of the city to ignore the police's warnings of her presence, and to not be concerned will the strange stolen goods. For example, someone experienced an expensive chair go missing for no apparent reason. The only people who know of the Demon Lady's presence are the people who have ties to the police. 

----Alice Maduro---- 

I am an 18-year-old girl named Alice Maduro. My best friend is Ava, my dog, who is a chihuahua that might have diabetes. I mostly spend my time in my bedroom because I have depression, social anxiety, and motorphobia. I find it quite problematic to remember certain things. But when I go outside, I am gone for hours. I also started a routine three years ago. I am about to turn 19 when the new school year commences. Again. 

I believe I am the average height for a girl my age, standing at 5'3 and a 1/2. I have an oval-shaped face, arched eyebrows that make me look mad, reddish-brown, cat-like eyes, a grey hue under my eyes that gives me an eternal sleep-deprived look, and a cupid's bow lip shape. My hair is elbow-length, ultra-thick, and a deep brown. And I have pale olive skin. So overall, I have a half-dead Hispanic vampiric look to me.
