Chapter Five: A Normal Sleepover? Part 2

Athena nods and replies, "I will if you pet my head again." 

"Okay," I reply, glancing away from Athena because I am too embarrassed to look at her as I gently stroke her head with my small hand. 

Soon Athena is purring again, making me feel a little sick to my stomach. After a few minutes of petting her head, I stop. "You have to change into the pajamas now." 

"Yes, Senpai, I will change now," Athena says in a cheerful voice. 

I look at Athena with a forced smile, and she smiles back. Athena winks at me with a provocative grin and slowly removes her shirt before removing her jeans. 

"W-why did you wink at me like that?" I ask flustered, while my heart's tempo speeds up. 

Athena doesn't respond to my question. Instead, she asks me a question of her own, while striking a very inappropriate pose, "Senpai, do you like what you see?" 

I look down at my socks as I say, "I-I am not going to answer that. Why are you acting like this, Athena?" 

Athena puts my pajamas on and pushes me to sit on my bed as she says, "I am acting like this because I want you to look at me how you look at your drawings of that... woman?" 

"Yes, she is known as the Demon Lady." 

Athena blushes as she asks me while gazing into my reddish-brown eyes, "Will you look at me like how you look at your drawings if I dressed like her, Alice?" 

Now I am blushing and do not know how to respond. The image of Athena dressed as the Demon Lady does look a little enticing. 

Athena gently gets on my bed, sitting on her knees. "Why do you always look at your drawings of that woman with lust?" 

I feel too nervous, I have to look away from her eyes. As I start to turn my head, Athena gently places her hands on my cheeks, turning my head back. "Answer me. Please?" Athena seems to plead with her eyes. I breathe in slowly and whisper, "It started 4 years ago. I saw not the most attractive lady, but a scary one. But the more I would see her, the more I felt drawn to her, and the more attractive she became. Anyone who sees the Demon Lady is overwhelmed with fear so they... They run away after stealing something from someone else...?" I sigh, "It is a very strange reaction, but that is what happens." 

Athena's eyes widen in surprise, "That is why May, Henry, and many others have disappeared!?" 

I nod. Athena then thinks quietly to herself, and then gasps as she asks, "So you first saw her when you were 14!? D-d-did she do anything weird to you when you met her?" 

"No! You are making her seem like a predator." Well, she is a predator, but not in the way that Athena thinks obviously. Athena is very silent, and she removes her hands from my cheeks. I wonder what she is thinking in her head. I turn my head to the side and whisper, not wanting to admit it, "I think you would make a... Beautiful Demon Lady, Athena." 

Athena perks up immediately and asks, "If I were to dress like a mature woman, do you think I could replace the other woman? Because she is obviously too old for you, Senpai!" 

You look back at her with an actual smile as you ask, "And you think that you are old enough for me, Kohai?" 

"I did not say you can call me that! And I am only 1 year, 4 months, and 12 days younger than you! We are closer in age than the woman you draw. I am old enough for you!" 

I look around my bedroom nervously, wanting to end this conversation. "Do you want to draw, play video games, or maybe watch something?" 

Athena pouts and says, "I don't like playing video games or drawing, because I suck at both." 

"I see," I say while I laugh in my head. "You can't even play Excavate Simulator?" 

She nods. "The undead and eight-legged freaks gang up on me." She then smiles and says, "Let's just watch Mlender Man. It is a cursed, comedic horror movie." 

"What is it about?" 

Athena shakes her head and says, "It is what would happen if you fuse Mender and Rlender Man. How do you not know this?" 

"Are you referring to Mender from Futuredrama, and Rlender Man from Rlender: The Depraival?" 

Athena nods her head excitedly, "Yes! Now you get it?" 

I shake my head. "That sounds very made up." 

Athena pouts and says, "It's not! Why do you think it's a cursed, comedic horror movie?" 

"I don't know." 

Athena rolls her eyes with a huff, "Because someone made it and uploaded it to BouTuby!" 

"If you think it is worth watching, I will watch it." 

----Time skip---- 

After watching Mlender Man I find that it is not as bad as I assumed it would be, but it was still a very bad movie. Mlender Man had an okay story, and it was funny, but not in a good way. Athena fell asleep at the beginning of the movie, which surprised me because she was the one who wanted to watch it in the first place. 

My eyes drift to Athena as I turn off my TV and gaming console. Athena is cuddled up with Ava, and she has a smile on her face. She looks so cute with Ava. I turn away and gently get off my bed. my feet start walking to my bedroom door,  and soon I am sitting on the edge of my bathtub shower, facing the bathroom door with a racing heart. My brain is playing through the events that I can recall from today: my encounter with the Demon Lady, Athena's annoyance towards my silence, the fake kiss we shared, the looks of pity Athena gave me, Athena winking at me while half-naked, and Ava cuddling with Athena. I place my hands on my cheeks slumping my shoulders, despite the pain this causes my back. As I lose myself in today's events, I feel a hand on my left shoulder.
