ASH's POV.
It is 6 am in the morning , I gave a free day for pokemon , so no training today. I am currently sitting under a tree with the egg in my hand while thinking ( this will be my second pokemon that I get in Sinnoh , I hope it gets along with everyone), pidgeot and swellow were next to him as they engulfed ash and the egg with their wings to provide warmth.
I am planning to go to prof .Rowan's lab today since its a 2 hour walk from here to sandgem town and then go to oreburgh city for the gym battle. Hopefully I have enough time to evolve feebas and train it a bit.
3RD PERSON POV.
Ash heard someone calling out for him as he turned to see Clair waving at him and motioning him to come inside , ash then let the 2 bird Pokemon return to their Pokeballs and placed the egg in the container provided and placed the container in bag and made his way to have some breakfast.
Ash entered the cafeteria and spotted Clair and Sabrina with Sabrina waving at him , he went towards them and said " good morning girl" to which the girls replied " good morning." and ash sat down in the available chair as Pikachu hopped on the table , the four ate their breakfast and went outside to release their pokemon and let them eat too. Ash had to be vigilant so as to not let anyone know of the Latias that he has.
After the pokemon ate their breakfast , Gardevoir and Latias changed to their human side as they walked along the group on their way to prof .Rowan's lab. They were walking at a comfortable pace while ash wondered whether he should get a car in order travel faster but decided against it.
After 2 hours , the gang were close to prof .Rowan's lab as ash caught a aura of a pokemon nearby which he hasn't felt before , internally decided to check it out and said " hey girls, lets check if there are any pokemon around here." , the group agreed as Latias changed to her pokemon side and went back in her pokeball and Gardevoir changed to her pokemon side and walked along.
Pikachu and Glaceon were also alert with their ears reacting to small sounds , Ash went towards where he felt the aura and saw a quadrupedal, feline Pokémon resembling a lion cub or lynx kitten. Its front half is light blue, while the rear is black. Ash recognized the pokemon to be Shinx , an electric type pokemon.
Ash then said " I challenge you to a battle little Shinx , you seem like a strong pokemon to catch." , Shinx instantly went on guard and growled challengingly. Ash then said " go Glaceon , use quick attack." , Glaceon became a streak of white light and sped towards the Shinx who jumped out of harm's way and used thunder shock which accurately hit Glaceon .
Ash was surprised " ho , can use thunder shock huh? , now I am gonna get serious as well . Glaceon use blizzard." , Glaceon let out a powerful blizzard with her mouth damaging Shinx with the ice shards before it got frozen completely. ash then took out a pokeball and said " go pokeball." and threw it gently towards the frozen Shinx .
