Chapter 14

On the next day, Jisoo woke up earlier than usual. Her head is full of questions as to what she should make for Jennie's breakfast and lunch, what kind of food Jennie likes and what she doesn't like.

Meanwhile Sejin showed up out of nowhere and decided to snap Jisoo out of her thoughts.

Sejin: Kim Jisoooooo wake up!!, Sejin shouted.

As Jisoo is so used to a frightening voice, she was reacting to Sejin's shout just because it hurt her ears only.

Ji: ahhhhhhh, my ears. What's with you in this early morning? Can't you see that I'm already awake? I'm trying to think here, please don't disturb me.

Sejin: Why are you having so many thoughts already in this early morning though? Stop it already with your over-thinking skills.

Ji: When did overthinking become a skill? It's kind of a habit. Anyway, nothing serious actually, I'm just thinking of what to make for breakfast and lunch.

Sejin: What? Just that? I've known you for years but this is my first time ever to see you having a hard time because of what to eat. What happened to you? Are you having a hard time at school these days? Why don't you tell me anything? What made you like this? Come on tell me, I'm listening.

Ji: You're seriously not helping anything here, what you just said are all completely irrelevant with my issue at the moment. Oh god, what's wrong with you my friend? Aren't you the one who is having a hard time here? You're so serious just about anything.

Sejin: Seeing you talking back like this, you must be fine then. So tell me why are you stressing over what to eat for the first time ever today.

Ji: My cooking has become two servings now. I have to cook for someone else as well so I'm stressing out about what to make for her, like what she dislikes or likes to eat. Those things, you know?

Sejin: YOU'RE PLURAL NOW MY FRIEND?! Yesss thank god, my loner friend finally got herself a partner. Wait, but you hate all the boys at school like you don't even look at them, how did you guys fall in love without me knowing? That's unbelievable.

Ji: *sigh* Plural? What kind of language is that? Wanna try writing a story book? You seem to have so much imaginative thinking there. And I said she not he.

Sejin: Not a boyfriend then? So a girl? Awwww that's so cute.

Ji: You're not bad, but still wrong 😑.

Sejin: Not this or that, then who is that alien? I'm dying to know here. Hurry up and tell me!

Ji: You're already dead, you won't die even if I don't tell you. So don't you worry.  Actually it's fun to listen to your storytelling but since I don't have much time to waste, I'll just tell you.

Sejin: I'm so hurt right now, you better tell me now before I get even more hurt, Kim Jisoo.

Ji: Jennie Kim, that girl.

Sejin: Her? Why do you have to cook for her? Have you known each other? Because as far as I know you guys just met a few times and haven't even become friends yet. Oh wait then, did you two become a thing over a night I was not around? Wow! You're acting all carefree about everyone that you see when you're with me but as soon as I'm not around you got a girlfriend right away, huh?

Jisoo sighed deeply before she replied back.

Ji: Just like I told you earlier, you're not bad. You already came up with a happy ending for your character. DO IT, I'm rooting for you! said ironically.

Sejin: Are we even talking about the same topic?

Ji: Exactly!!! Will you just listen to me first then?
