Jennie: Ehhh....what kind of nonsense are you talking about? Where did you hear this kind of nonsense?

Jennie desperately tried to hide the deep relationship between her and Jisoo because nothing has been confirmed by any of them yet. While on the other hand, Jisoo got hurt by every word that Jennie just said.

"Nonsense"....is that what you think about our relationship? Yeah that's true, this kind of nonsense relationship is not possible especially with someone like you, Jisoo thought.

Jisoo: Yeah, that's nonsense. We are just friends, well we are barely friends as well. We are just seniors and juniors.

This time, Jennie got hurt. So hurt that she almost ran away from them at that moment. Jennie almost cried. She thought that their relationship is better than that but what Jisoo just said shows how she thinks of their relationship.

Jennie: Let's go on with our date Doyoung. I am hungry.

Doyoung: Wait, what's wrong with you guys? Aren't you guys best friends? I heard you guys are on that level of friendship. Did you have an argument?

Jennie: I don't have anyone beside Lisa and you. Let's go now.

Doyoung: Oh okay okay, you suddenly become so hungry, huh? Let me go get the car or do you want to go with me?

Jennie: I'll go with you, I don't want to stay here alone.

Doyoung: Okkie. Byee Jisoo, see you around.

Jisoo: Bye, I wish you guys well. You look good together, by the way.

Doyoung: aww, thanks for saying that! I also hope for the best.

It was not easy for Jisoo to say that but she tried to overcome the pain. Jisoo and Jennie had been close for a few months already, they had been touchy with each other including holding hand from place to place, hugging each other when they tried to cheer each other up and even to the point that they kissed each other but in the back of Jisoo's mind she always knew that it is impossible for them to move a step further with whatever relationship they are having now.

Meanwhile, Jennie was hurt and mad hearing what Jisoo just said to Doyoung. But she herself also did not know why it hurt her and triggered her badly like that just by hearing those words from Jisoo.

Jennie stared at Jisoo furiously while Jisoo stared at Jennie hopelessly with a forceful smile.

After that day, they did not contact each other or hear from each other at all while they just went on with their life normally until a day before the trip that they had to gather for shopping and preparing for the trip.

At the supermarket

Jisoo H.: Hello Jisoo, where are you and Chaeyoung? We are all gathered already.

Jisoo: We are in front of the market now, wait a bit.

Jisoo H.: Great, hurry up. He hung up the phone.

Jennie was standing on a side listening to the conversation.

When Jisoo and Chaeyoung arrived, everyone started to divide into groups to shop for different things.

Fortunately for Jisoo and Jennie, they were in different groups. But Jisoo couldn't help and kept taking a glance at Jennie. Well Jennie was no different, she also took glances of Jisoo secretly. They were curious about each other, wondering how the other had been doing. Jisoo did not look well at all, she looked weak and different. So Jennie secretly asked Jisoo H. about that. She was afraid that Chaeyoung would tell Jisoo if she asked her so she asked someone that is not close but close enough to know how Jisoo is doing.
