Chapter 11

After a long run chasing up each other they both arrived at Jisoo's house.

Jen: Jisoo-ssi where is your home? I'm tired.

Ji: That one in front of you.

Jen: Don't tell me it's that Pikachu one, [trying not to laugh].

Ji: Why? What's wrong with Pikachu? It's so cute.

Jen: How come you draw a Pikachu on the door of your home like that? It's embarrassing [laughing out loud]

Ji stay quiet and walked slowly to open the door with a sad face.

Jen noticed it so she stop laughing and apologize about that but suddenly Ji started to laugh feeling happy and proud because she can just fooled Jen easily.

Then Jen started to hit Ji softly till a figure approached them.

Mr.Kim: I know it I always get everything right when it comes to you.

Ji: Appa~~

Mr.Kim: Salty, how have you been huh?, Oh hi hmmmm….

Ji: Ahhh she's my junior.

Jen: Nope I'm her friend, Jennie Kim. Nice to meet you uncle.

Ji: A friend that just met. [Whispered]

Jen: Can't I just be your friend? 

Mr.Kim: She's just like that don't mind her, by the way I'm Mr.Kim.

Jen bowed to Mr. Kim.

Then they all went into the house.

Mr.Kim: Did everyone has breakfast?

Jen: Yes I did.

Ji:……..

Mr. Kim: no wonder you still look the same. (Glancing over Ji)

Ji: It's boring dad.

Mr. Kim: But it's a must. You'll get sick without breakfast.

Ji: Okaayyy my bad, I will try dad.

While Ji and Mr.Kim were talking meanwhile Jen was in a surprise to see many paintings and portraits hanging up on the wall that somehow bright up the house to look like a museum or even a castle?

Jen: woah this is masterpieces.

Ji and Mr.Kim turned their heads over to Jen who had her mouth dropped from amusement.

Ji: guess who just teased me about the Pikachu earlier but praise me now.

Then Ji walked pass Jen and went upstairs to take a shower.

Jen: wait what? Uncle did I hear it correctly?

Mr. Kim: Yeah of course, you can believe her with this one. She's really good with art and she's really passionate about it.

Jen: According to what you say and with all these masterpieces she could be an artist already but why did she take science as her main major though?

Mr. Kim: Because she's a scaredy cat. She's afraid that she will not do well or mess everything up and especially wasting her time for nothing. But the most important reason is for her mom. Her mom was a scientist to be specific a pharmaceutical scientist.

As he mentioned about his wife he got emotional so he stop talking and left Jen in the house alone to cry by himself outside the house.

Jen worried about him but she didn't know what to do so she just stayed in the house, sat down and wait for Ji to finish her shower.

Ji finished to get dressed up so she walked down the stairs, seeing Jen alone she asked in confusion.

Ji: where is my dad?

Jen: hmmm he's cryyying outside I'm sorry I didn't mean to.

Ji: did he mention mom?

Jen: y-yeah

Ji: it's ok not your fault. It's always my fault.

Jen: whh-why?

Meanwhile Mr. Kim at the outside wiping off his tear and try to be normal so that Ji won't know that he just cried again because of that same reason. He didn't want to remind Ji about that painful memory again because Ji always take responsibility for that accident. She always blame herself about it and secretly crying out loud alone. She just became better this last 2 years.

Ji: ...II-I.. (almost tearing up)

Mr. Kim: oh you finished your shower? Then tell me what you want to eat today and you too Jennie.

Hihihi I'm backkkkk guyssss. After a really long hiatus I'm finally back😅 actually I always miss u guys and think about this story. After I studied more and focus on it more now I'm a bit better at school yayyaay I'm so happy. I apologize for not giving any information and left for a long time. I'm truly happy that I can finally update. And I'm truly appreciate every read from you guys and thank you for always supporting my work thank u a lot.
So I won't be able to update regularly because of school and semester exam is coming soon guys I'm scared and worry a lot but I will try. And also I will try to update more. Love you guys💞
