Chapter 1

"Hey Johann..." You asked sweetly.

He sighed, putting down a box he was carrying.

"Spit it out. What mess have you made this time? Did you destroy another crop shipment?"

You chuckled akwardly.

"What! No ,I didn't- okay maybe some cabbages, but that's not what I'm getting at. We're getting low on provisions, so I thought, why not stop by an island to look for some. I could use some time to rest my sea legs too."

"Ah, very well then. Check the map for me. Which island is closest?"

You went over to the large world map, and placed your finger on the nearest one.

"Seems to be... Northern Markets. You know this place?"

He looked whistfully.

"A questionable marketplace with no clear alliance. Even the Dragons just want your gold! it'll take us 10hrs and 30mins to get there, so buckle in."

"Aye, aye captain."

When you were finally docked on the island, you couldn't wait to get off. Before you could run off though, Johan called out.

"Don't go running off to far! We're only docking for a few hours while I gather supplies! And watch out for dragons! The wild ones won't hesitate to kill you!"

"Got it!"

And you immediately went to go look for a dragon. Were you reckless? Definitely. Did you care? Nope. You just want a dragon, and your pretty sure your survival instincts are fried anyway.

While exploring the Island, you made sure to stay clear of the marketplace. You didn't want to have a bad run in with shift Vikings, and you didn't think a wild dragon was dumb enough to go there. You decided to check the beaches instead. While you were walking on said beech, you suddenly fell through the ground. You landed in a wierd cavern that had mounds of treasure. It was also here that you found a dragon nest. The eggs are egg is oval shaped, with slightly irregular shape. They are yellow, the color of sand, with green spots, the color of grass.

Now this may seem morally incorrect, but... You really want a dragon. And there is like a dozen eggs here! I'm sure the mom won't miss just the one being missing. Probably won't even notice it's gone.

Making you decision, you grabbed one of the eggs and placed it securely In the bag you brought with you. Now, to get out of her without the mama noticing... You felt a breath on the back of your neck, and froze. Shit...

Turning around, you came face to face with a large dragon. It seemed pissed.

"Hi there~ great meeting you and all, but... Bye!"

You ran fast while it chased you. You had to hide behind treasure mounds to dodge it's blasts. You finally found am exit to the cavern and ran out I to the welcome light. For some reason the dragon didn't follow you out, even though it was still clearly pissed. Counting your blessings, you made an escape.

You headed quickly back to the boat, and Johan waved to you.

"Good, your back! I was just finishing up!"

"Perfect! We should really be going now..."

He frowned and gave you a stern glare.

"What did you do?"

"So you know how you told me to stay away from dragons? Well, funny thing..."

He sighed deeply.

"You pissed one off, didn't you?"
