In the year 2022, virtual reality has progressed by leaps and bounds, and a massive online role-playing game called Sword Art Online (SAO) is launched.

With the aid of "NerveGear" technology, players can control their avatars within the game using nothing but their own thoughts.

Sword Art Online: Integral Factor (SAOIF) is developed by Kayaba Akihiko with the collaboration of Bandai Namco.

December 2, 2022, after the game released in public stores, SAOIF official service is expected to start at 4:00am, JST.

3:55am, before I sat in the chair I used when playing SAOIF, I roam around the house.

As usual, it is very quiet and dark.

*Sigh*

I sigh knowing that this house will never change.

Since when the last time someone comes to this house?

I don't remember anymore.

Once I finished preparing myself, I sat on my gaming chair, plugs the power source to the cable wall for constantly charging the NerveGear, started the game console device, and put the NerveGear on my head.

After some verification, my mind got transferred by the system into the virtual world.

As I slowly open my eyes, I found myself in the Town of Beginnings where the first safe zone is located.

The place is crowded by new players as well as those beta tester.

I leave the place quickly and head straight to the Merchant District to buy my necessities before grinding my level.

While Im walking my way, I noticed a guy with yellow dyed leather armor together with a cute loli wearing a pink dyed leather armor, flirting with each other.

Damn those normies, I thought to myself.

Well, its obvious that they are using a fake avatar.

It's because I also did the same before to hide my identity in the public.

I was about to go to the Merchant NPC who's selling potions as soon as I saw it, when someone suddenly bumps into me.
