Chapter 2.1: Town of Beginnings

After thinking deeply, I came up an answer that I will never regret for my entire life.

"What should I do?" I asked with full of determination in my eyes.

"First, you gonna need some cash! You need to buy or buff your equipment!" She said while smirking at me.

"There's an easy quest that I know with a good payout. Wanna know? Just remember to always put your guard up."

"Well, Im interested. I want to hear what you say."

"Great! That's what I like to hear! Think you can gather up three Reckless Fang from the Frenzy Boar in the Origin Plains? I'll buy them at a high price so..... Deal?"

"Im okay with that but....." Even though I agree with her deal, I want first to know what Koharu wants to do so I look at her and wait for her response.

"I-I want to help too Nanashi kun. I we'll never get anywhere if I just sit around and do nothing at all! We've all got to do what we can so I'll follow where you go, Nanashi kun!" I just nod at her and smile.

Koharu just stare at me after I did that.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"N-no, its just that this is the first time I see you smile. You always having this gloomy aura around you so I've been shocked on what you did."

"Is that so? Well, look forward to it because I will smile frequently from now on."

"Aye aye! Stop flirting in front of me, could you?" We both got embarrassed after Argo said that to us.

Its not like we're flirting or anything!

"I'll just going around so once you've done, just find me here, kay?"

Since Argo already left, Koharu and I decided to go to Origin Plains to do the quest that Argo gave us.

Once we arrive at the location, we started beating some boar.

"Koharu! Switch!"

"Here I go! Hyaa!" Koharu dash at the boar who's currently running towards her.

The boar opens it mouth and was about to bite Koharu, but before the boar's fang touch her skin, she throw her daggers inside its mouth, and it got burst into fragments.

"Are you alright?" I asked in concern.

"Yeah, Im alright." Then she picks up her dagger that is lying on the ground.

"That's two Reckless Fang, one more to go." While we are roaming around to find Frenzy Boar, we saw two players who have been surrounded by a bunch of monsters.

"Nanashi kun! We should help them!" They maybe heard Koharu's voice so the two player look at us and ask for help.

"H-hey you two! P-p-please h-help u-us!" The girl with orange hair said while the tears are starting to swell in her eyes.

"Please! We will do anything you want! Please help us!" The guy with yellow hair said while looking at us suspiciously.

"Don't worry, we will save you!" Before Koharu jump in and help them, I grab her arms tightly to the point it hurts her.
