Nancy's POV:
The woman sat down opposite me sipping her drink looking at me with her dark blue/grey eyes. I sip my coffee and carry on reading but I can feel her eyes on me. After 10 minutes or so, the woman clears her throat and says "I love your eyes, they are so big like a doe. My name is Kayden, what's your name?". I can feel my cheeks starting to get hot and I smile shyly. "Nice to meet you Kayden, my name is Nancy". Kayden checks something on her phone then looks at me, she says "this maybe be overstepping the line and if you want to refuse then you absolutely can but I was wondering if I could have your phone number so we could get to know each other better?". I sit there kinda surprised and shocked at her asking for my number but I mean I was curious about her plus she's good looking. "Thank you for being courteous Kayden, my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx". Kayden types into her phone as I say it and she sends me a text message to make sure I get her phone number. Kayden says goodbye and she leaves the coffee shop. I sit there kinda in disbelief at what just happened but kinda happy too. I eventually leave the coffee shop a couple of hours later and I go home to my apartment.
Kayden's POV:
I left the coffee shop feeling so happy that I got the beautiful girl's number. I get in my car and drive home feeling hopeful for what might be happening soon. I arrive home and I go straight upstairs to my bedroom. I lay on my bed and I text Nancy, "hi Nancy I hope you are doing well." I lay there looking at the ceiling thinking of those big doe eyes and her curly brown hair.
