Chapter 6

Kayden's POV:
I'm still sat at the bar in Luna watching everything going on when my phone buzzes. I check my phone and I have 2 text messages. One is from Kian telling me who is responsible for losing my drug shipment and I reply, "I will deal with him tomorrow. Make sure he doesn't go anywhere". The other text message is from Nancy which I'm surprised to see. I reply, "hi Nancy, that's okay. I'm doing well thank you and I hope you are too. I wonder if you would like to get to know each other better ?". I finish my drink and I leave getting into a taxi leaving my car outside the club until tomorrow. I get home and change into pjs then I climb into bed falling asleep quickly. I wake up feeling kinda tired but otherwise okay and I check my phone but no messages. I get dressed in a navy suit with a white shirt and drive to work.

Nancy's POV:
I feel straight to sleep after sending that to Kayden so I wake up feeling refreshed. I sit up and stretch then I check my phone. I see a message from Kayden and I read it which makes me smile and feel shy. I reply back, "hi Kayden, I think that's a good idea but how would you like to get to know each other? Through questions or something else?". I get dressed for work and I go open up the library setting up for the day. I start daydreaming about Kayden and what I might learn about her because she seems like an interesting person. A couple of hours later my phones buzzes and it's a message from Kayden. The message says, "I'm happy you think it's a good idea. We could have coffee at my office if you like and have a conversation or go somewhere else for a conversation?". I feel flustered so I sit for a while thinking about what to reply with.
