Nancy's POV:
My date went well and the guy was really nice but it felt like something was missing. The next day, I wake up and it's my day off so I go for a walk. Then, I go to the Starbucks in the mall to spend a few hours reading and drinking coffee. After a while, I decide to leave so I get up grabbing my stuff and I end bumping into someone. I look up and it's Kayden. I gasp, "Hi Kayden I'm sorry for bumping into you". Her eyes are stormy grey for a minute then go back to those blue eyes I remember but she doesn't smile. She looks at me kinda surprised and says "Hello Nancy and it's fine I was just leaving". I think to myself she is acting weird but I smile & say "do you wanna hang out sometime again ? We can learn more about each other, maybe I could show you my bookstore". Kayden frowns and then it disappears, she says "no enjoy your day" and she leaves. I frown feeling really sad because I don't understand why she would act like that. I walk home feeling deflated and I go sit on my couch. After a few hours, I text Kayden "Hi Kayden I was wondering if we could talk. I feel like I've done something wrong". I put my phone down and watch tv waiting for a reply.
Kayden's POV:
When I bumped into Nancy at Starbucks I was surprised but I also wish I hadn't bumped into her. I left Starbucks and went back to my car with my coffee. When I said no to her and left, I could tell she was confused at my actions. Nancy messaged me asking to talking and I sigh. I grit my teeth and reply "sure, what do you wanna talk about?". I sit there knowing I have to hide how I feel but I don't know how. I decide to go sort some gang stuff out and I turn my phone off. I leave my office and go meet up with the members & Kian.
