Chapter 11

Nancy's POV:
I read Kayden's message and I think of what to say. I text back, "we haven't spoke for a while and we bumped into each other at Starbucks today. I was wondering how you are". 2 hours past by and Kayden still hasn't replied, I sigh feeling slightly upset. I order some food and I watch tv.

Kayden's POV:
4 hours past by and I finish organising the gang & sorting problems out. I come back up to my office and I turn my phone back on. A message from Nancy pops and I sigh. I sit at my desk and think of what to reply and I finally think of something. I reply back with "hi Nancy, I've been doing pretty good how have you been ? I noticed you had a date recently, hopefully it went well". I sigh again and I grab my jacket & I leave my office. I drive home and once I get home I change into pjs and climb into bed. I put my phone on charge and I go to sleep.

Nancy's POV:
I hear a ding so I check my phone and I see it's a message from Kayden. I read the message she sent me and I get a little surprised that she mentioned my date. I think for a little bit then I reply, "I'm doing good been a bit busy honestly and yeah I went on a date. Unfortunately, the date didn't go that well, it was just a waste of my time in the end". I wait a few minutes then I send the text albeit it feeling nervous for some reason. I end up giving up waiting for an answer so I go get into bed & fall asleep.

Kayden's POV:
I woke up and checked my phone seeing Nancy's message, I smile slightly knowing her date didn't go well. I text her back, "I'm sorry to hear your date didn't go well, how about I make up for your bad date and you come on a date with me. What do you say ?". I go shower and get dressed in black jeans, black Chelsea boots and a black T-shirt with a silver chain & silver pinky ring.
