Chapter 1

A normal day for Ganyu and Xiao, while they mind their own business.

Ganyu had a training with Xiao the next day.

She was just lying down on the grassy ground looking at the sky. She still questions herself, why do I still feel something is missing in my life.

"I should get ready for tommorow." She told herself and got up.

She wanted to be like Xiao someday. She admires him for his strong abilities.

She practiced, to please Xiao tommorow.

"Good morning, Xiao! Hello!" Ganyu waved at him, she realized she was late, for the 4th time.

"Ganyu you're la-"

"Sorry, I am, I really am...I won't do it again promise! I swear on Rex Lapis!"

"Tch, whatever, let's get this started."

Xiao made Ganyu fight slimes, hilichurls, and whopperflowers. Alot.

It was turning dark and she was still fighting.

Ganyu was so tired she was almost gonna collapse.

"Hey Xiao? Can I rest for a b-"

Boom, a hilichurl hit her head, causing her to fall and faint.

"Ganyu!" Xiao shouted, he stopped the trial and picked her up.

He laid her under a tree shade, it was getting quite late.

'I was too hard on her, wasn't I? I should've lessened the monsters.' He thought.

"Ganyu, wake up." He said with a slightly worried face

"O-oh...Hello? What time is it? What was I doing? Where was I?" She said as she opened her eyes slowly

"You were at training, your name is Ganyu, you got hit by a hilichurl on your head." Xiao answered,

"Let's call it a day, Ganyu. We can train again tommorow. I'm sorry for being too hard on you." He continued,

"It's okay! It's all part of training anyway. You get injured, and get wounds. But I wanna be like you someday, Xiao, I really look up to you! Thank you for training me." She smiled at him.

Ganyu hugged Xiao, "Thank you." She whispered in his ear.

"Let's go now, don't work yourself too much, Ganyu." He said calmly, he tried to smile but he just can't.

They went back to their homes.

Xiao and Ganyu went to sleep.
