Chapter 4

Last evening was not a dream, but it was like a dream.

Ganyu had a test Xiao prepared today but she didn't showed up late again.

"H-hello.." Ganyu waved at him with a weak body, "Late, again. Stop promising if you won't keep it."

But Xiao noticed and observed her, he ran up to her and touched her forehead.

"Ganyu, your temperature is rising. What happened to you?!"

"Ah, no need to worry about me. I'm sure it will disappear."

"I'll move your test tommorow, you should rest."

Ganyu collapsed onto Xiao's body, "I just need something warm.." she said, weakly.

Xiao wrapped his arms around Ganyu, "Warm enough?" He asked, "Y-yeah.."

She fell asleep. She had a bad fever and needed to rest.

While Xiao brushed her hair with his hands, and her laying down sleeping on his lap.

"I told you to take care of yourself, Ganyu."

The next day, Ganyu woke up on her bed. She needed to finish alot of reports for today.

She found a letter in her front door, and read out loud:

Dear, Ganyu
I hope your fever is gone now. I hope
You are doing fine. Please meet me at
Wangshu Inn at 6pm. Remember to take care of yourself okay?

Ganyu kept the letter, she went to work and finished some reports. After she was done it was already 7pm.

"Oh no! I had to meet Xiao at 6!"

She rushed as quick as possible to Wangshu Inn. She arrived at 7:30pm.

She arrived unable to catch her breath,
"Xiao! Xiao! I'm so sorry! I had to finish some reports and--"

He sighed, "It's okay, it's your daily life as a mortal in Liyue." He said calmly.

"Sit down now."

Ganyu sat in front of him at the side of the table.

"Do you want anything?" He asked, "Oh, you were gonna treat me..?" Ganyu replied,

"Hello there, are you guys dating? May I take your order?" A girl said that appeared in front of them,

"Oh, haha! We are not dating. Plus, if we were, we wouldn't match." Ganyu said,

"I would take a Satisfying Salad, please."
She continued, "Almond Tofu." Xiao said.

"Ah, I see. I'll be right back with food."

Ganyu looked at Xiao in the eyes, and smiled.

"Err, Xiao...This is not a d-date right?" Ganyu asked him.

"Why would this be a date?" Answered Xiao,

"Thank you, though." Ganyu said.

After about 15 minutes, the girl came back with their orders.

"Salad," she handed out Ganyu's food,
"And Almond Tofu." She handed out Xiao's food.

They both ate their food and chatted about things. :D

After they were done eating, Ganyu thought Xiao was just gonna treat her to dinner. But there was more to it.

"I guess we are done here? Thank you, Xiao. Goodnight now." Ganyu stood up,

"Wait, it's still a bit early. Do you wanna walk around Liyue with me for a bit? I can move your test again tommorow."
Xiao stopped her.

"Sure!"
