Under the Fireworks

Ganyu was not at work since it is Lantern Rite, Xiao wanted to date her today because she had free time just today.

"Ganyu!" Xiao ran to her as she gets out of the Jade Chamber.

"Oh! X-xiao..Hello.."

Xiao stuffed his face into Ganyu's shoulders inhaling her smell,

"I've only been working for hours, You've missed me.." Ganyu continued,

"I'll date you today, Ganyu. Is that fine for you? Also, I got Qingxin flowers with Glazelillies for you." Xiao handed out a bouquet of flowers,

"X-xiao! Th-thats too much, you don't need to buy me stuff every single day..I appreciate you doing those for me but really- Don't waste too much money. Gimme the Qingxin.. Also you're supposed to go with traveller right? Why are you going with me?"

"If you don't wanna go with me then don't, I told traveller to go out another day." Xiao's smile faded,

"No, no! I would really love to go out with you today, thank you for the flowers..Let's go to Mt. Aocang first."

"Alright." Xiao's smile began to be appearing again,

They went to Mount Aocang and Cloud Retainer saw both of them,

She went to Xiao and Ganyu,

"Why have been two travelled here during Lantern Rite?" Cloud Retainer asked,

"Good afternoon, Cloud Retainer." Ganyu greeted,

"One has thought both of you are together?" Cloud retainer asked again,

"A-ah...How do I say thi--"

"Yes, We are together. Going out, perhaps, to say in other words." Xiao cut Ganyu while saying these words proudly,

"Ah, The Yaksha that was a loner of thousands of years. Together with Ganyu?" Cloud Retainer rolled her eyes

"Ganyu, are you with the right man?" She continued,

"Cloud Retainer..? What do you mean? Of course!" Ganyu replied,

"Why did we go to Mt. Aocang anyway, Ganyu?" Xiao asked pulling Ganyu towards him,

"A-ah, I wanted to uh...Stay there..For a little while..I don't wanna go through Liyue Harbor's restaurants, I'll lose control over food again like last time.."

"It's okay to eat plenty for a bit, and it's Lantern Rite too, You should enjoy."

"Well, you've got a point..Alright then." Ganyu smiled

"When one is speaking you are not to disrespect and ignore!"  Cloud retainer shouted,

"Sorry! We only came here to visit you and say hello...We're gonna get going now! H-have a great day, Cloud Retainer." Ganyu took Xiao's hands and went out of Cloud Retainer's sight in a bliss.

"It's almost time for the fireworks!" Ganyu said excitedly,

"Jade Chamber is a good spot for viewing it!" She continued still holding Xiao's hand while running towards the Jade Chamber,

"Let's not go to Jade Chamber, I know a better place." Xiao stopped her,

"Alright then, where?"

"I know a mountain, I prepared something there. Very good for viewing the fireworks."

Xiao carried Ganyu and teleported suddenly to the mountain.

"Alright! Clocks ticki-"

Ganyu saw a beautiful sight that cut her words off,

Dangling lights, beautiful flowers,

It was not the fireworks.

And on a table filled with flowers, and food,

Written By the petals was:

"Happy Lantern Rite, Love."

And both they heard exploding in the background,

Fireworks began to shoot in the Starry night sky,

"This...Is...The best day I've ever had...In my entire life...In thousands of years.."

Her eyes were full of tears,

"A kiss under the fireworks during Lantern Rite would be nice.." Ganyu teased,

"Do you want?" He asked,

"Why not?"

"A hug too, perhaps."

Xiao held Ganyu's hand, and pulled her to him.

He reached for her cheek and kissed her slowly,

While fireworks play in a dazzle...
