Chaper 2 "Are we friends?"

Y/n POV:
Today was like any other day except something was off. I grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around myself "This so going to be a long day" I mumbled heading off to the bathroom.

I didn't have to go I just need to clean up a bit. I rinsed my face in the water and dried it off with a towel. I look more pink this morning. I put my hand up to my forehead "Well I don't feel sick" I mumbled. I'm just going to brush it off for later.

I walked downstairs to see my dad in the kitchen making breakfast "Hey! Good morning Straw-Frog" My dad said coming over to give me a hug. I'm not really a morning person but my dad gives me hugs anyway. "Morning dad, why are you making breakfast?" I asked now seeing quite some food on the island counter.

Dad looked at me and then laughed "Well I guess larry didn't tell you but Him and sal want to hangout here today in the basement if that's okay with you, he asked me to make some breakfast for when they get here" Dad exclaimed.

Oh no Sal and larry are coming "Okay well can you make me some tea while I got get dressed?" I asked walking to the stairs to go up and put on a actual outfit. I picked my F/c hoodie and some black sweatpants.

I went to the bathroom to fix my hair. I put it up in space buns, and went back downstairs to help dad fix the table.

Someone knocked on the door "Hey straw-frog can you open that for me?" He asked "Oh yeah here" I placed a plate on the table and walked over to the door. "Larry, Sally face good to see you guys here. Dad has made quite some food for us" I exclaimed as Larry walked in like he owned the place and sal followed behind.

I actually wonder if me and sal are friends, I mean I did just meet him yesterday but it would be nice to have another friend. "Oh larry nice to see you again" Larry finger gunned my dad and went to grab some food. "And Sal nice to meet you, be nice to my little girl" Dad stick his hand out, which Sal gladly shook.

We all grabbed our food and headed downstairs "Okay so what do you guys want to play we have the Ps5, VR, or the Pc. I like the VR personally" I said as we all ate and talked about different things. "Okay give me your guy's plates and I will take them up to the sink." I stated holding my hands out so they could put the dishes on them.

I took the dishes upstairs, and placed them in the sink. I hear a thump from downstairs and run down "What happed!" I yelled scanning the room to find out "Larry fell over after trying to put on the VR and he hurt himself" Sal said looking at me then back at larry "I'm okay" Larry said putting a thumb in the air. I burst out laughing and sal joined me.

Sometimes Larry's a real dumbass "Larry you have a bruise on your forehead" I stated pointing at his head "Huh I guess I do" He commented feeling his forehead to find the bruise.

I walked over to the basement mini kitchen and put some ice in a bag, wrapped it in a thin towel "Larry here" I said handing him the ice pack which he accepted and placed it on his bruise.

I turned to Sal "So what do you want to do Sally face?" I asked walked over and sitting down on a bean bag "Well I have a question first" He said walking over and sitting on the bean bag in front of me "Are we friends?" He asked looking right at me. I was going to ask him that.

I looked at sal and he looked back "Yeah of course, at least I thought we could be friends" I stated looking at the stitching of my hoodie "Well I mean with my face and all i didn't know if you thought I was weird or something" He mumbled.

3rd person POV:
You looked at his mask and kinda stared at the features of it. It was so realistic and well made your sure of that. "In reality I think your mask and face are fascinating and I would love to see your face someday so, yeah Sally face we are friends." You stated with confidence laced in your voice.

Sals heart fluttered at that. I mean you were a cute girl telling someone like sal that you want to see his face and that you are fascinated by him.

Sal got a boost of confidence from those words, it may sound silly but sal actually wanted to be able to show you his face but he had to wait. He had to wait to make sure you actually want to be his friend.

Sals POV:
'She really said that to me, Y/n is actually quite nice' I looked at Y/n and she smiled back at me
"So do you want to try VR Sally face I promise it's fun if you don't trip on the cord" Y/n said, grabbing the headset.

I agreed and she walked over with it and placed it on my head. "Hey sal it may be hard with your prosthetic on you can take it off or I can get you a thin mask so you feel comfortable" Y/n said "Can you get me the thin mask I don't feel fully comfortable with my mask just off" I asked, she nodded and I got the straps on the prosthetic loose.

She came back with a bandanna, Larry was passed out on the couch because of boredom "Here I'll tie it on the back of your head and I won't look I promise" Y/n said walked behind me.

I trust her so I took of the prosthetic and she walked around me with the bandanna. She tied it in the back and put the VR headset on. Y/n giggled "What do I look stupid?" I asked "No you just look a little funny that's all." She replied.

The rest of the day was just us playing video games and it all ended in a sleepover.
