Chapter 40: MUSICAL EVENING

Third person POV:
The evening started amazingly with players and staff members coming one by one and singing a song dedicating to the person whose name came in the chit. Not anymore able to hold his excitement Vee ran to the front and declared that he will be singing next. He pulled out the paper and a smile formed on his lips.
"Whose name is it Virat, tell us?" Rahul asked.
"My favourite, AB" Virat replied and the team cheered.
"AB, I know I'm bad at it but for you I am going to sing an English song. Bear with it guys" Virat said taking the mic.
"Vee, Now I know why people say that you two behave like a couple in love" Anushka laughed.
"And Virat bhai, On your behalf I am already warning everybody... Guys, your ears may start bleeding so risk is all yours." Yuzi teased.
"Shut up Yuzi before i punch you"
"No violence please and biscuit, I know you are the best. Go on" It was AB trying to calm the situation and finally everyone zipped their mouths giving Virat the indication to start his song. Apart from teasings, everyone knew that Virat will sing this song from his whole heart, everyone knew what AB means to him. The ever so funny and jolly Virat closed his eyes and started the song, every word was a melody because of the emotions they carried and everyone felt that specially the person for him it was sang and the one who understands the soul of the singer.

And Virat ended the song with a smile, AB came and gave his biscuit a hug. Their friendship was goals not just for their fans or the cricket lovers but also for the person who see them up and close. They proved how people with different worlds as Virat says AB is an alien, can be friends. They were a real life example of how friendship should be and how distance never break the real bonds apart. Overwhelmed with emotions, both of them took their seats and Yuzi was the next and he needed to sing a song for Danielle. As expected he chose the best song.

As he sang the first line, everyone burst out laughing on his choice of song. Anushka sat with Danielle and translated the whole song for her while Vee, Siraj, Sundar and Saini started dancing and whistling around Yuzi to give full Hum apke hai kaun vibes.
