I groggily sat up on my bed. Sunlight was creeping in throught the window.
I opened the curtains and saw that I was in a huge parking lot. There was a park nearby. There were also three buses similar to mine.
I got up and took a short bath. I dried myself and then brushed my teeth, changed into a hoodie, black jogging pants, and a pair of Nike sneakers.
I saw Bob, the person who drove my bus, sleeping in a bunk.
I got out of the bus and jogged all the way to the park. From there, I started playing music and continued jogging.
I was thinking about Amora. I mean, how could she be Sarah Amorr?
Wait, Amora and Amorr.
She could have used her last name as a nickname.
It couldn't be anyone else. It had to be her.
I just never really thought that the young and beautiful Amora would become the famous Sarah Amorr.
I passed a hot dog stand and a pond. I crossed the bridge and turned around a small cement island.
There were lots of trees and the smell of natural air was refreshing. Before I knew it, I was already heading back to my auto-hotel.
I got in the bus and went into my room. There, I opened up the television and saw the news.
"The inter-school dance offs are getting heated, aren't they, John?"
"Yes they are. Moving on, what lovely weather we have today!" The guy, John, said.
Well, that seemed to be the end of that. I went to the store and saw Winston there.
"Hey, Winston" I waved and gave a small smile, "What's up?"
"I'm doing great" He replied, "Did you need something?"
"Yeah, actually" I said, "Have you seen Sarah?"
"Oh, you mean my girlfriend Sarah?" He said with a victorious smirk, "Or some other Sarah?"
"Sarah's your what now?" I asked, a little shocked.
"My girlfriend" He replied with a smile that could have said he won the lottery.
"Since when?"
"I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell you right away" He said, "It was yesterday. You left kind of early"
"I'm happy for you man" I said half- heartedly, "Is she coming anytime soon? I need to talk to her about something"
I turned my head and I saw Sarah approaching, and I just shut up and turned away.
My mind was arguing with my heart.
"Don't be such a wuss" My heart said, "She's just a friend"
"Turn away" said my brain said, "It's the most practical thing to do"
I turned around and Sarah was right in front of me. She smelled of lavender, and her hair was down. She looked beautiful.
She was still scrutinizing me in every possible way. Like she knew me.
Oh, right. Amora.
"Sarah, do you remember talking to someone called Max when you were younger?" I asked.
"Yeah. He was my best friend, but my phone was stolen and I couldn't find it." She said, "I couldn't remember my account's password, so we lost touch. Why'd you ask?"
So it is her. Amora.
"Sarah, it's me" I said quietly, "I'm Max"
"¿Dónde diablos has estado? Te extrañé mucho!" she said in Spanish.
"Amigo, perdido el contacto. Nunca supe que perdió su teléfono o bien, la aplicación estaba re-instalable, así que por qué no lo hiciste?" I said and smiled inwardly cause Winston was staring at us weirdly.
"Le dije que no sabía que mi contraseña, maldita sea!" she said.
"Bien, usted gana, acaba de saber sus contraseñas a partir de ahora, ¿ok?"
"Okay" she said and hugged me.
"La unión hace la fuerza, divididos caemos juntos tenían miedo de muñecas espeluznantes" We chanted our old friendship motto together and started cracking up.
Then I remembered Winston was there.
"Bro, is it okay if I borrowed your girlfriend for today?" I asked, "We have a lot to catch up on"
"Yeah, sure" He said, "Just make sure not to try anything funny"
The threat was there, but he said it in a way that didn't make me feel threatened at all.
"Come on, Sarah. Let's go"
I took her hand and dragged her to the amusement park nearby.
First we rode the roller coaster, then we rode the spinning tea cups, then after, a whole lot more rides and we played in the arcade.
She was the girl I was in love with ever since I was six.
But Winston got ahead, and I could just settle for second place. As a best friend.
That night, I brought her to her hotel in my rented car.
"So, this is it" I said.
"Yeah, I guess so" She replied, biting her lip.
"I missed you, you know?" I sighed.
She reached over across the console to give me a hug.
"That's why I felt like I knew you" She said, "I missed you, too"
"Let's do this again next time, yeah?" I asked.
"Sure"
"And give Winston my regards" I said as she got out of the car.
"Good night, Max" She said with a playful grin, "See you tomorrow"
"Sleep tight" I said, "See you tomorrow"
Then, I drove away.

I parked the car and got out.
I got into my bus and cooked something up for my dinner. I also gave Bob some.
After dinner, I took a bath, changed into some PJs, turned on some music, then flopped down on the bed.
I started thinking again.
Should I give up or should I win Sarah's heart?
I carried that thought to sleep.
___
Hey. So I'm leaving for vacation and may not update for a week or two. But I'll try to do so as soon as I can.
Best wishes,
