Summary- Theo gets a little emotional over celebrating Christmas, and Liam is just rly rly excited🎄🎄🥰😂🥰

"Theo!" Liam greeted enthusiastically.
The chimera froze in his tracks, as he stared at the fairly large tree in the middle of the living room.
"Ummm...." he trailed off.
"There you are! Mason helped me bring it in! Do you like it?" He asked, sounding like an excited puppy.
Theo's expression wasn't exactly bleeding happiness, which lead to Liam's face falling slightly.
"Oh come onnn" he signed exhasperatedly, "what never seen a Christmas tree before?"
"I-" He started.
Honestly, he couldn't remember the last time he saw one of those. He had lived in various tunnels for half of his life, and the dread doctors weren't really ones to celebrate much of anything; let alone Christmas.
Liam's expression softened, as he walked towards him. The beta gently took his hand.
"Wanna help me decorate?" He asked, with a bright smile.
The chimera stood still for a while, squeezing Liam's hand, while he fought off tears. Never had the thought occurred to him, that he may be able to celebrate Christmas like this again. Decorate a tree, exchange presents, eat cookies and curl up on a couch with someone, sipping hot chocolate....
Apparently, he hadn't done a very good job of hiding his tears, as he felt Liam's fingers gently swipe them from his cheek. His hand stayed there, as he smiled beautifully up at Theo.
"It's okay T" he whispered, "We're gonna to have the best Christmas ever" the beta promised him determinedly, and Theo melted.
"I know" he replied, smiling tearfully at the beta.
He leaned in to press their lips together, trying to convey the magnitude of the love he felt for the other boy. When they pulled away, the excited look had returned to Liam's face.
"Now come and help me decorate it before my parents get home! And then we have to go gift shopping, wrap the gifts, make gingerbread cookies, hang lights outside, hang lights inside...."
Theo laughed, as he listened to the beta happily listing off their Christmas agenda, while dragging him towards the tree and what looked like a large collection of colourful ornaments and tinsel strewn across the floor.
There was really nowhere else he'd rather be for Christmas- or any other day of the year- than right here beside his adorable puppy of a boyfriend.
