As soon as we entered the store Annie started screaming things. "Ladies and gentlemen this is a robbery". I have never seen Beth take control like she did it was incredible, I mean like wow. It took ten minutes until the security guard started running towards us, but let's just he wasn't fast enough.

We went back to Beth's house to count the money and I think Beth started to realise what she had done. "Beth hello" I tried to get her attention "are you okay in there? What's your name?" " I robbed a grocery store" Beth quietly spat out. Annie was counting but she looked a bit concerned. "Please tell me we got the fourty" Ruby said "we got the fourty" she held up four, We all sighed in relief. Until she said "we got more than the fourty" "how much more" I asked. Annie then pored five full bags of money on to the table, I giggled in disbelief as the others watched in shock.

It all became a shounting mess as all the money was layed out. "Why does a grocery store even have this kind of money on hand?" "Because its hella shady. I told you this was a bad idea" Ruby shouted. I was on the sofa sipping my whiskey watching the mess unfold.

I got my bit of the money but we apparently weren't aloud to spend more than ten grand so I could finally pay off my debt and get some more clothes and food for Matteo.

I dropped matteo at school as I needed to do a little bit of shopping for the week. I grabbed the essentials and a treat for me until Beth rung me "y/n you to get here now" I dropped everything and ran out of store, people looking at me weirdly. I drove to Beth's and noticed a car I had never seen in the neighbourhood, Annie parked next to me as she said "whats going on" "I don't know" we walked into the house and saw Ruby and Beth sat on a small chair shaking "whats wro-" Annie stopped mid sentence as we saw a man with a golden gun on the counter and two big guys behind him.

"Good I thought you guys would never make it" the man said pointing at the chair that Ruby and Beth were sat on. We walked to the seat the man's eyes looked at Annie then landed on me, he smiled at me and then began to look around. "Yo, this backsplash is dope. Hey, what's it made out of? Marble? Yo, you ever get any problems with staining back here. Like, if you're cooking a big pot of spaghetti sauce or something like that?" I nudged Beth a bit as she was in shock "no, I don't think so" "no?" He chuckled a bit turning around. "We didn't know you owned the store." Ruby said "I look like some kind of grocery store manager to you? Or, like, Rotary club or something. No, let's just say that we got certain arrangements with some local businesses. And we help each other out and whatnot. You know?" He was now in front of us looking down I didn't say anything because I know I have a big mouth when I'm anxious. Ruby's had glossy eyes as she spoke "like.....money laundering for drugs? I told you it was shady." "Why don't you stop worring about my business dealings and start figuring how you're gonna pay me my money back" "we can get it back" Beth spat out "oh that would be great". I looked at Annie as she started talking "most of it" "sorry, what" "some of it, for sure" he laughed a bit until Annie whispered to us "oh, what, like you guys didn't spend a dime?" "How much, Annie" "I don't know. I probably spent, like, a hundred.... grand" they were shocked, I looked over to her and said "wow" under my breath. The man was staring at me like he was trying to figure something out but he soon turned back to the conversation. "I'm gonna shoot you myself" "nah, you're just gonna pay me back is all. I mean right quick, too. With interest." They started walking out until he turned to us and pointed his gun at us "you've really got to be careful, Ladies. I mean, with citrus on marble, like lemon and whatnot. That stuff will erode like crazy." Once we left we all let out a sigh like we've held it all this time
