Concert Debut

Suisei POV

It's the day, the day when I can finally go on stage and be an idol. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Last night I couldn't even sleep. I was filled with Excitement and at the same time Anxiety. In the end I just started practicing the song I was going to sing.

Before I could leave my house, my phone started ringing. Y/N was calling me.

Y/N: It's today huh? I'm excited to see you go up the stage

Suisei: Mhm, I can't say I'm not nervous though

Y/N: Don't worry, that's a natural thing to feel. I'm getting nervous as well, but it is quite exciting

Suisei: Yeah, thanks. I'm about to leave now so I'll see you later.

Y/N: Alright I'll be heading to the venue as well, see you later.

A few hours later

Y/N POV

Getting tickets for the front row was really hard. When I bought my ticket there were only a few seats left. I got nervous there for a second, but in the end I managed to get a ticket.

I make my way through the crowded streets. With this being my first time in the area I was a little lost. Luckily I overheard people talking about the concert and so ended up following them to the venue.

I made my way inside and went to the front row. Most of the seats have already been filled with people. I quickly went to a seat and sat down.

Y/N: This place is really big huh?

Suisei POV

I arrived to the venue quite early so that I can rehearse before the actual thing. I can hear the noises of the audience on the other side. There's so many people I can hear it.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down when I heard a voice behind me.

???: Are you nervous?

I turn around and saw that it was Azki.

Suisei: Yeah, it'll my first time going on stage. And I can already hear so many people outside and there's still some time before we actually start.

Azki: Everyone feels nervousness during their first times. I was also really nervous when I first went on stage.

Suisei: Mhm. Also thank you for letting me perform for the opening act even though it's your first Solo Concert.

Azki: It's alright Sui-chan. We'll be working together from now on, so it's best to start now. Anyways I'll go through my rehearsals now. Goodluck Sui-chan!

I wave Azki goodbye as I continue try and calm myself down. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. So I check to see what it was.

Y/N: I'm inside the venue now, I'll be cheering you on (A/N: Insert light stick emote)

Seeing Y/N's message helped calm me down a bit.

Staff: Everyone to your positions we'll be starting in 10 minutes

Alright back to being nervous again-

Y/N POV

The event should be starting any second now I think to myself while staring at my watch.  While waiting I toy around with the lightstick that the staff gave me.

Just then the background music change capturing the attention of everyone. I look around everyone has their lightsticks on. All of which were emitting red light.

As I was looking around I began to hear footsteps so I look at the stage. And saw Suisei walking up the center of the stage. Murmurs of the crowd filled the room all wondering who this blue haired girl is.

"Is that Azki?"

"I don't think Azki has blue hair"

I understand the confusion as there was no announcement beforehand.

Suisei POV

I look to my side and was given the go by the staff. I begin walking to the center of the stage. I can hear my heart beating. My arms and legs are shaking. I reach the center of the stage and face the audience.

Suisei: There's a lot of people down there.

Then I remembered the lines I was supposed to say.

Suisei: Good morning! My name is Hoshimachi Suisei a-and I'll be working with Inonaka Music and Azki from now on!

Murmurs echo throughout the venue after saying this. In my panic I forgot what I was supposed to say next.

Suisei: Uhm I-

As I stumble to find my words I hear a familiar voice shout in the crowd.

???: YOU CAN DO IT SUISEI!

I search for the origin of the shout. And see someone with a blue lightstick amongst the sea of red. Shortly after this the people nearest the shout begin to change their lightstick color from red to blue, and soon enough everyone in the venue had a blue light stick in their hand.

Suisei: I'll be singing a song for everyone now! An original song, "Tenkyuu"

Y/N POV

Y/N: I haven't shouted that loud for a long time.

I look around me to see the people nearest looking directly at me. I feel my face heat when I notice that the ones closest to me begin to change their glowsticks to blue.

I look around and see a wave of blue replacing the red lights that were originally on.

Suisei: I'll be singing a song for everyone now! An original song, "Tenkyuu"

I have no idea if what I did helped Suisei or not, all I know is the she put on a great performance. Singing her new original song, I wave my lightstick along to the song.

Suisei POV

As I finish my song, the sound of clapping and cheering filled the venue.

Suisei: Thank you for listening!

I walk off the stage finally breathing a sigh of relief that my first concert debut was done. I return to the backstage greeted by congratulations from the staff and Azki clapping. I can say that my first concert debut has been a success.

A/N: Another chapter done. As I said in the previous chapter that I'll be following some of the stories that Suisei has said in the video of her journey.

The glowsticks changing color was a very great moment and so I gave it a highlight with the MC.
