"I heard about the USJ attack. Was wondering if you were still alive."

"Thankfully, I am. Though I'll be honest I didn't think I was going to survive that. The villains have so much technology and are more powerful than I could've imagined..."

"You think Midoriya's prepared enough?" All Might laughed and shook his head.

"No, no. He's far from prepared. But trust me, I won't fail him like I did you."

"That's encouraging, I guess." (Y/n) stood awkwardly, watching his dad intently as he sat on the couch shirtless with bandages wrapped all around his body.

"Do you really care about me or is there something else you want?"

"How do you think the villains knew you'd be at USJ? You think one of the kids spilled something?" He asked, being very clear in the fact that he didn't actually care about All Might's wellbeing.

"God no, I hope not. They're good kids, they wouldn't do that. You know, you should meet some of the kids sometime. You'd get along well with some of them. There's a few that like the same style of music as you."

"Cool. I don't care. You've kept me from social interaction pretty much my entire life, why are you suddenly interested in having me make friends now?"

"Because making friends is very important in life. If you had made it to UA, you would've been making friends. But because you didn't, I want you to at least make a few hero friends," All Might explained, taking a sip of coffee from his coffee cup. (Y/n) rolled his eyes and turned around, walking upstairs.

"I'll think about it, but I doubt I'd get along with any of them." All Might shook his head as he watched (Y/n) retreat to his room. He really was trying to fix him. He was aware of the fact that pushing (Y/n) into heroism hurt him more than it helped, and now he was trying to redeem that by letting him do what he wants while also keeping in mind the future of Japan.

He knew his son wouldn't fit the role of number one, but he's still his son, he can't abandon him completely. So, he would focus on both training Midoriya to become number one (and hopefully not making the same mistakes twice) and making sure (Y/n) doesn't throw his life away. Only issue was, (Y/n) wasn't seeing his logic. Which, All Might was aware of, but unsure of how to deal with it, so he usually just ignored it. But, now he actually wanted (Y/n) to start trying to make a life for himself. And that's exactly why he introduced him to Class 1A.

"YOU HAVE A SON!?!?" Confused, yet excited whispers traveled across the classroom.

"Yes, yes I do. Unfortunately, he did not make the cut into UA, so he's not a hero. That doesn't mean you treat him any differently. He's still a human being, and he's my son. He's currently standing outside this room, but I do want to warn you that he is not the ideal kid you'd picture as my son. I would also like to mention, he takes pride in being my son and is quite the gossiper. I'd suggest not believing a single word he says about me. That being said, please keep the rude comments to yourself. Thank you. (Y/n), you can come in now." The whole class turned their heads to the door, waiting in anticipation.

The door opened and (Y/n) walked in, sending a glare to each kid in the classroom. "I'm not a kid, by the way. He tends to lie about me a lot, not so much the other way around," he said, sitting on All Might's desk. Everyone in the class turned to one another, once again exchanging whispers and stealing small glances at (Y/n). One girl cleared her throat, and a few eyes turned to her, including (Y/n)'s.

"Just gonna say, I love your hair, it looks super cool," she said, twirling an earphone jack attached to her earlobe anxiously. (Y/n) nodded in her direction.
