"Come in." The teen quietly pushed the door to All Might's office open and stepped inside, standing a bit awkwardly. He motioned for the chair before him. "Take a seat." Still not saying a word, she gently sat in the seat, uncomfortably upright. The two sat in awkward silence for a small amount of time.

"I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I.. have nothing but excuses to offer," she eventually uttered. All Might sighed.

"Jirou, I should be the one apologizing. You were right." She glanced up at him. "I did overlook the situation. This was extremely preventable." His eyes found the floor as he propped his elbows up, fidgeting with his fingers. "I had a strong hero instinct that something bad was growing within (Y/n) for years. However, I was too overwhelmed by it to act on it. That, and I was constantly angry with him. My emotions overshadowed my rationality. Every time he went out for a walk or was gone for a few days, a part of me hoped he would spare me the trouble of never returning. Unfortunately, I hadn't considered the possibility of him turning to villainy. Though, I guess I have myself to blame for that.

"His villainous behavior always led me and other heroes to believe he had the potential to be a villain, but we assumed he'd never figure that out himself... We made sure that becoming a villain was never an option for him. I'm... still not quite sure how he discovered his passion for villainy, but regardless, that is not your fault. It's no doubt that he ran away initially to pursue his career in villainy, and I should never have overlooked your concerns when you brought them to me that day. I only have myself to blame." His eyes raised to meet Kyouka's once again, her eyes filled with tears. She nodded and gazed down to the floor.

"We were in contact." This caught All Might's attention, and he nodded for her to continue. She bit her lip, trying to figure out how to explain herself. "He never told me that he was a villain. He was gone for a few days without contacting me, but after some time, he did reach out. He told me he had finally had enough and was running away for good. He promised to come back and visit... We talked almost every day. Hell, we even facetimed once while he was out on a walk..." She shook her head and wiped her eyes with her sleeve. "I told him about the training camp." All Might nodded slowly. "And... At the training camp... I was the one who saw him... I'm not sure if Aizawa told you that much..." He nodded again.

"I was made aware that you were the one to report it, yes." Kyouka nodded and fidgeted with her hands in her lap.

"I was... I was so angry with him... I wanted to hurt him so badly... And I tried, I really tried... I couldn't do it. I couldn't kill him." She sighed and rubbed her arms. "I never meant for any of it to happen. I... I had no idea he was affiliated with villains... I came here to clear that up and to apologize for acting out towards you. I am no longer in contact with him, and I will not hesitate to attack him if I encounter him again. I'm so sorry for the trouble my ignorance and naivety has caused..." All Might sighed yet again.

"You have nothing to apologize for. When the pros and I encountered him in the League of Villains' hideout, we were startled, but not surprised in the slightest. And we made it quite obvious. He noticed this, of course, and tried to weaponize it. He's a sick bastard is what he is. He took advantage of you, and that is not your fault. I only wish I had realized his affiliations sooner and had been able to warn you. I know you two were very close. I do appreciate you for being his friend, by the way. I'm sure that his relations with you are what kept him from hurting you or others," he explained. Kyouka glanced up, opening her mouth to speak, but All Might quickly continued. "(Y/n) did not hurt anyone at the training camp. The most he did was spit on Bakugou whilst he was in captivity, from what the boy has told me."

Kyouka sniffled, burying her face into her hands. All Might smiled half-heartedly, patting her shoulder. "(Y/n) isn't a violent person. I'm sure he wants to be, and I have no doubts that if he is not detained soon, he will begin acting violently. But I think you were the barrier. If it had been anyone else who had approached him, especially Midoriya, on that cliff, they would've been injured." She nodded through her tears, wiping her eyes as she removed her hands from her face.
