Emotions are never stupid

As you walk out of the room following Daisy you hear yelling from down the hall. You follow the noise to Natasha's room to her door being shut. You put your ear against the door to listen.

"I didn't cheat on you!" You hear Bucky yell.

"What are you talkin about?! I come into MY room to see some naked girl in my bed with you, and you say you didn't cheat on me?" You hear Natasha argue.

"It's not like that." You hear Bucky, trying to argue back.

"First you have sex with another girl while we're dating, and now you're lying about- you know what, leave, just go." You hewr her stutter for a second.

"Nat I was drunk-" Bucky starts.

"I said go." She faught.

You hear Bucky's footsteps coming toward the door, so you quickly walk around the corner of the hallway. The door opens and Bucky walks down the hall, away from where you were standing.

You sigh.

You grab the doorknob and open the door. Natasha was in her bathroom sitting on the counter with the door open so she doesn't see you walking in until you were right at the bathroom door.

"Y/n." She says, wiping her eyes and sitting differently from before.

"Are you alright?" You ask, slightly leaning against the doorframe.

"Yeah, it's nothing." She responds, scooting back in the counter a bit.

"Natasha Romanoff, I know you, and you don't just cry over nothing." You say, shaking your head.

"It's stupid." She says, clearing her throat.

"Emotions are never stupid." You argue, trying to get her to talk.

"It's just Bucky a-and-" She stutters while speaking.

She sniffles and wipes her eyes again.

She's distressed enough to the point where she can't continue talking. You walk in front of her on the counter, you stand between her legs so you can wrap your arms around her.

She embraces the hug and rest her head on your shoulder.

"I'm sorry Y/n." She says. She sniffles and breathes heavily while talking.

"I know, it's okay." You respond, comforting her.
